Just got back from spending 2 nights here. We loved it from start to finish & it was everything we could have wanted & more. From the moment we pulled up outside we were greeted like old friends & made to feel very welcome. Our dog was also made to feel very welcome & was given a treat. We parked... More

Very warm and friendly guest house with great hosts that made us feel welcome. We had the attic room with our dog, very clean and cosy with a spectucular view out towards the Abbey. The cooked breakfast was de-lici-ous! Everything perfect. Black pudding...wow...and the fried bread? OMG!! We’ve spent most of our freetime in Whitby over the past 15 years... More

Stayed one night. The room was nice and clean and had a view across to the abbey. The bathroom was on the floor below, but I had sole use of it and it was clean and of a good size. Very good breakfast and had quite a chat with Ron. It's a very short walk into the town centre which... More

Just spent a lovely weekend at blencathra. Friendly hosts, fabulous breakfast, and although our room wasn't en suite, we had sole use of a bathroom. Excellent position, not far from the beach and town. The room was a decent size, plenty of room for our dog who was also welcomed with open arms. Whitby is a very dog friendly place.... More
