Visited the dolphin 3 times whilst at the goth weekend in whitby. Great little bar lots of character. The staff were very pleasant. We had the blue cheese and garlic mushroom for a starter and it was amazing as was the steaks. We went back on the sunday just for a bowl of the soup. Tip. Order extra bread! Lol

Last time we visited we stayed overnight at The Angel, see previous review in January of this year. This was just a day trip with plans to have our lunch in one...

On arrival I was impressed with the selection of ales available, both local and from further afield. The pub...

My husband, myself and our dog arrived on bank holiday Sunday and the bar and dining area were heaving and initially I was worried about being able to hear from our room and our dog not settling and barking, but once we got up into our room my worries vanished as...

Laid back, comfortable and friendly. We and our whippet had a great stay. Used the Church Street car park, which is very close. Beware Whitby's seagulls - best to eat your fish and chips under cover...
