We have just returned from an enjoyable stay at Dunsley Hall Country hotel. First impressions are very favourable a hotel with character. All the staff we came across were friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The room we stayed in was well presented and had a spacious feel due to the high ceiling. We had an evening meal with...

On first arriving at the Hotel we were impressed. The Hotel itself is stunning with lovely features. The decanter of port in the lounge for a welcome drink was a nice touch. The hotel is spotless, warm and very comfortable...Faultless. The food was well presented , generous sized portions and so tasty. The staff are so friendly which makes the...

Just spent our first wedding anniversary here it was the place where it all began. We had our wedding here in Jan 2015 and it was magical, everything we could have wished for. We were made just as welcome on our return for our first anniversary. The staff are wonderful, the place is so warm and friendly and the food...

Stayed here on a Friday night. After spending the day in Whitby. The drive takes 10 minutes and the hotel is remote which we liked. Our room was large with a large bathroom. It was beautifully decorated and of high standards. We dined in. Yes it's a set menu but couldn't fault it at all. 3 courses plus coffee. Breakfast...

We have previously stayed at this hotel last year. But we had noticed a considerable difference. The room was large, beautifully decorated, but rather chilly. The breakfast was nice, no food was available at lunch time in the bar, and the evening meal was a menu - £24.95 for 2 people. Price was ok, choice of food was not to...

We stayed here for 3 nights in January after deciding on a short winter break. The fact that Dunsley hall were doing a 1/2 price offer (£69/night) on the room price was the reason we chose to stay here over our original intention to stay in Whitby. The hotel is in a very remote area with no other amenities unless...

A very old and "lived in" hotel. The rooms are a little tired but, at the same time, very comfortable. A bit off the beaten track but this is part of its charm. The reception and, in fact, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was superb and great value for money. The hotel has bags of...

We cannot recommend Dunsley Hall enough! We stayed for the first time over Christmas 2015 - 4 Nights - and the staff's love of the place was trully evident. The hotel oozes character whilst also having ground floor rooms which are suitable for the less mobile. The Christmas decorations coupled with the little extra touches were wonderful. The food was lso of...

One one of our stays the room was cold and within 5 minutes the staff had provided a heater. The rooms are clean comfortable and charming and you feel you...
