Perfect stay! Room was very clean and well decorated which created a lovely warm and romantic atmosphere for our weekend away. We were served a lovely breakfast with a great variety of choice. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and let us leave our luggage there after checkout for us to collect later which was a great help! Grantley...

The staff are very helpful. They took such good care of us and made us feel at home. They also helped us find activities while in Whitby. The breakfast was great, there was a wide variety of breakfast food.

I was there in mid October for the Bram Stoker international film festival and I could not speak highly enough about the Grantley house. Justin worked tirelessly to make sure all of us where ecstatic and he did a great job. The daily breakfast was amazing and everyone there was friendly and made me feel right at home. If you...

Grantley house was one of the loveliest place I have ever stayed in. Each room has its own interior decor so you can tell a lot of thought has gone into making it a most comfortable and hospitable Inn. The Host and his staff were very accommodating. I hope to see them again in the future! Thanks all!!xo

This fine Victorian terrace house has retained many of its original features with the advantage of central heating and free WiFi. Good beds in clean decent sized rooms. Breakfast could be a bit later especially in the winter months. Free on street parking where you can find it. Handy for the Grandby Inn round the corner which offers good meals...

On a visit to Whitby in July We arrived at Grantley house with great expectations as my partner had checked out the ratings as, he thought , extensively. (He was not aware of Trip advisor at the time.) When we arrived we had to leave our cases in the hall as our rooms were not ready. We went out for...

Firstly I would like to apologise for the animal waste in the yard, although I think your count was a little excessive. However you did mention that this was at 5am, this was cleaned away and yard sanitised before 7am. I'm sorry the room was not ready on your arrival, you arrived around 11am, the last guest departed the room...

Booked 2 rooms for my wife, myself and a friends because the place we usually booked was full. Both rooms were very nice. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast, which unusually included a wide selection of fresh fruit, was very good. There is free parking on the street outside, but as you would expect in...
