I travelled here with my partner for a few days away for my birthday. We had an amazing time, from the moment we arrived. The accommodation is lovely and especially great for horror fans. The hosts are great, I called them prior to arrival to ask if ok to drop bags off before check in time, and they offered to...

Each room has a different theme going on, with awesome Gothic décor. I have actually stayed here more then once, in two different rooms and both rooms were lovely. The dinning area was also really cool and also had the Gothic theme going on. The rooms are clean and well looked after. The owners are really lovely people, who couldn't...

We went for a birthday weekend last min. So much fun! We stayed in the solar room and it was beautiful, decked out with golden wallpaper, gargoyles, a witch and a bat. The four poster bed was very comfy and the room itself was spacious. Each room has its own bathroom although they aren't on suit this wasn't a problem....

Absolutely brilliant place to stay, highly recommended. Host is very friendly and knowledgeable, rooms/bathrooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast was lovely. We had the Lunar room and even though this is the room closest to the street we heard no outdoor noise. Room had tea/coffee making facilities with a basket down the corridor that held extra tea bags etc...

I have wanted to stay at this lovely B&B for over 5 years, so jumped at the chance to spend 3 nights here over the Bank Holiday period. Me and my boyfriend were delighted with our Dracula Room, and Kev was the most friendly and welcoming host you could ever hope for! The bed was so comfy, and the breakfast...

Stayed at this B&B after looking all the Dracula themed places in Whitby. Some points; -Kev, the host was very welcoming! Showed us round and told us we could watch any of their dvds/vhs' or read any of their books. -Rooms were pretty clean for the amount of stuff in them, but still a bit dusty. -Amazing breakfast! Kev talked...

I stayed here almost a year ago and have been meaning to write a review, because our one night stay was amazing. The decor is so fun, everything is quirky but also clean and well kept. The gentleman who welcomed us and also brought out breakfast in the morning was so lovely, and when we mentioned we'd got engaged the...

We've just returned from a short break to Bats and Broomsticks, and what a great stay!! The decor has to be seen to be believed, and it's the small touches that create the impression - the bat hanging above the four-poster bed, Dracula in the hall (with complimentary sweets on his tray) - the candle in our room already lit...

I needed to stay over in Whitby for a night on business, so instinctively looked for the bland business type hotels. Luckily Whitby didn't have the normal premier inn types and I found myself perusing lists of B&Bs and small hotels. Bats and Broomsticks caught my eye and I couldn't help but book it. What a great little place, the...

Always wanted to sample this little gothic bed and breakfast in the heart of Whitby, and I'm so glad I did! Quirky decor, very comfortable and adequate facilities and the veggie breakfast was lovely. Also had a great view of the Abbey :) and the host very welcoming and friendly.. Will definitely be back! Thanks!!!
