Our 3rd time here. Great price during half term, dog friendly and with an on site pool, what's not to like? Our cottage was downhill and although not on the river side, we still had a great view and were able to see the trains....More

We stayed at Poppy cottage. It was beautiful. It was warm, clean and packed full of items in the kitchen. Highly recommended. Great views of the steam train and the river Esk. Watching the seal swim upstream and the Heron stalking its prey was fantastic.

We stayed in number 8 Endeavour cottages. What a lovely place - a real cozy place. Clean. Tv/freeview set up slightly confusing as remote was worn out and couldn't,t see what the buttons did! But no real worries! Would recommend for folks who like quiet...More

Very good value cottage. Our cottage (31) was very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable we had lovely views across the Esk, on the far bank is a railway line with steam and diesel trains running, being as high as we were the noise didn't bother...More

I would actually give this no stars. We stopped in number 35 Endeavour cottage. Nothing like the pictures they have on the website and brochure. It was dirty and smelly, even after we asked them to give it another clean. Everyone who is saying how...More

Hi, we stayed in no.10 which was down the steep slope and right on the river so I think no. 6 is either in the same row or 1 row back. (We had a GREAT time so hope you do too) :)

Hi Joanne S, We stayed at the end of September & also stayed at no 20. Our booking confirmation from hoseasons said the same as yours (cottage number underneath in brackets) No. 20 is a fab cottage, hope you enjoy 😊

There were tea towels but no kitchen towel or hand/bath towels. (If you need one - take a hair-dryer too). :)
