Just returned home after a very enjoyable weekend in Whitby. Our stay at Elford Guest House was perfect; onsite parking, comfortable room, plenty of tea and coffee supplied, free wi fi and spotlessly clean. The added bonus of it being a pleasant 5 minute walk to the town centre means we'll definitely be booking this lovely guest house on any...

Had 2 perfect nights stay, warm friendly greeting, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, tea/coffee supplied. free wi fi. what more could you want, ideally situated not too close to the town but only a short walk will certainly return.

Me and husband decided to have a little weekend mini break and stayed here. I am so glad we did a very warm welcome and a stunning room at the top. Very quiet so sleep really well. The continental breakfast was so nice in the little baskets and full of variety. The car park was a definite added bonus. Definitely...

We stayed here recently for a long weekend and we couldn't fault Elford House at all. Highlights - lovely clean and comfortable room, very quiet, excellent location and the breakfasts were great. We really liked having the picnic breakfast so we could have lazy lie ins! Parking could be a little bit tricky if you were one of the last...

We are a young couple who love our privacy. Breakfast is delivered quietly to your door on a morning and the owners are professional, informative and very friendly. The rooms are stylish and clean. A short walk into town makes it everything we could need during our stay in Whitby. This is our home away from home! Looking forward to...

We booked two nights at Elford Hosue and found the owners very welcoming. The room on the first floor was very spacious and the continental style breakfast delivered outside your door each morning at 8.30 was definately different. The basket was filled with lots of breakfast goodies to include warm french bread. Its a good location but anyone who has...

We booked in for 7 nights and have just returned home from our stay. The house is in a great location just far enough away from the harbour to be peaceful, but near enough to be accessible. We were made welcome and shown our room which was on the first floor, room 5, and it was a large, clean and...

This was our second trip to the Elford. The room was on the second floor. It was well decorated. The main problem was that the settee and coffee table were in the corner under the sloping roof, which made it not very practical for us. I felt that it was expensive for what we got, and feel that it did...
