Stayed at the beaches guest house whilst visiting whitby and was delighted. We were greeted by Tamsin on our arrival .she was very pleasant and made us feel most welcome. We were given room 7 which was on the top floor which on climbing the stairs made us a little apprehensive but on entering the room we realised the climb...

Myself and my partner stayed at this bed and breakfast for 1 night on the 4th of March, checking out on the 5th of March. Overall this bed and breakfast was poor. The cleanliness was ok but not to an high standard. The coffee, tea and milk was plentiful however the cup were very small and barely adequate to make...

I arrived here with my girlfriend to be greeted by Tamsin the owner who seemed nice enough but a little intrusive for our tastes, especially as we were in a bit of a hurry to visit an attraction in time. We payed extra for a sea view room but it was a little disappointing; needs a great deal of modernising...

This was the second stop on our road trip. After an awful place in Blackpool the previous night we moved across to Whitby hoping for better, we called a few places but had no luck until we called the Beaches, we were given directions over the phone and found it easily. We were greated by Tamsin who was lovely, very...

The bed and breakfast was a lovely place the owner was very polite. It's about a 10 minute walk into whitby you could not get a parking spot outside as it was very busy though there were plenty just up the road.

We stayed for two nights at the Beaches and found our room ( No1) to be clean and comfortable, though a little small it had everything we needed. Breakfast was fine with a choice of cereal, yoghurts and juices as well as the traditional full English. The reason I title this review disappointed is because my husband left quite an...

A relaxing one night stay at this guest house. The owner is very welcoming and full of information about the area if you need it. Room 7 has a lovely view and is clean and well presented with a good shower. The Beaches is very well placed for all that Whitby has to offer and I found parking right outside...

The place was spotless, breakfast was very filling, though not sure why, I felt uncomfortable for the 3 night stay. Can't quite put my finger on it. I've read other people's reviews who love it. This one is not for me NB: Struggle to find a parking space, though issued with a permit, not many spaces to park

Stayed here last week for a couple of nights and had a great time. Our hostess was lovely and the overall the stay was pretty good. The view from room 7 was amazing and there was a few nice touches. However there was a few dissapointments, for example; the mattress was very hard, making it difficult to sleep, the toilet...
