We had a lovely three night stay at this very well sited B and B. It was really great walking by the river into York itself, away from the traffic and enjoying the Autumn colours of the trees along the riverbank. The B and B was everything we needed and more. The room was at the top of the house...

i'll start by saying i dont usually stay in guest houses and b&b's. the reason being is i often feel uncomfortable staying in other peoples homes. so i tend to go to the bog chain hotels with cheaper offers. Having said that if you do like guest houses, this is brilliant. very friendly, very clean and comfortable and very close...

Lovely three night stay in a comfortable, spacious room. Very friendly helpful hosts. Only a few minutes walk to the river: walk into the city along the riverbank or just sit and watch the boats and folk. Bus stop a minute away with regular city service or to the Designer Outlet. Had a great time and would certainly return.

The food and service at breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, good and tasty. A cot and high chair was provided for our 19 month granddaughter. The rooms were clean and comfortable, nicely...
