Room was clean and tidy but tired looking. Basic accommodation but adequate for a 1/2 night stay. Towels could do with being replaced. However, Lynne was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Suitably situated for walking into York.

We were in an annex outside, which was good in that we were self contained and out of the main house, however the annex smelled damp, I have better towels as floor cloths than were provided and the pillows were non existent.
