Don't be put off by the two stars,this hotel is better than some four star hotels I have stayed in.It is spotless,staff can't do enough for You and meals are excellent.All in all great value.Would not hesitate to stay again if visiting York.

I would say it is a little bit more than usual, since there is also "half-floor" room in between. And I totally agree with June1958, the staff is very kind. I think you could ask for they assistance if you need.
