Bit of advice to people planning to Stay here. Don't. The staff are not friendly and have an Icy attitude. The traffic around the hotel is horrendous it will keep you up at all hours. The beds are comfy. The rooms smell of weed and cigarettes. The hotel is in a great location but I would not come back here....

This "hotel" is in a massive need of renovation, my double room was smelly and didn't seem very clean. The lady on reception was very nice and helpful, but that's the only plus point from the hotel. The breakfast was awful, the bacon was overcooked, the beans were cold, the sausages were tasteless! I'd highly avoid staying here if possible.

Booked a family room for a single night stay. It was bank holiday weekend with nothing else available in the area. Now I know why. Located in an area I wanted to lock car doors and stay inside. Looked run down from outside. Left family in car to book in and was greeted by an unkempt miserable lady who I...

This so called hotel needs a total refurbishment..its just like a very out of date care home. Filthy rooms. Old furniture. No bedside lamps..they show a photo on the website of 1 bedroon which has been decorated. Our room was nothing like the photo. Filthy woodchip wallpaper..old carpets. On the plus side..the staff were nice and its in a handy...

Booked in for an overnight stay to attend a function elsewhere in the town. First off the bat we were greeted by a rather unkempt gentlemen, who seemed somewhat indifferent to his role as concierge. We were told our room was right above a function which was likely to go on until at least 1am with loud music! Not a...

The Pitts hotel or at least that is what it should be called. I often looked to reviews on this place and thought that people were just saying nasty comments, however 3 times i have stayed here, and now this is the last time. The room was in a real bad way with heavy staining on the carpet and a...

I have no idea how this slum was given 3 stars, 2 stars would have been kind in my opinion but at 4 star prices. The place is in desperate need of decoration and new windows wouldn't go a miss either. The breakfast is ok but nothing special, the bacon was clearly left over from the day before and reheated,...

Stayed in early January and never again!Check in: that was a pleasure. Checked in by a lovely lady called Lyn, she was so pleasant and had a lovely smile, made me feel so welcome. Room: From the minute I walked through the door from reception it was awful. The smell and filthy stair carpet which looked like it had been...
