I stayed here for two nights for work, and it was wonderful. I loved my room at the top of the house, and the home-cooked food was stunning. It was so good to stay somewhere for work with caring, friendly staff, and I appreciated the calm, friendly ambience even more than normal because I was up late one night watching... More

The Poplars fulfilled my exacting standards in every way possible. We had a lovely quiet room on the second floor, it was very clean and comfortable. Bottled water, tea bags, sachets of coffee, hot chocolate, milk and biscuits were provided in our room which made us feel all the more at home and welcome. The breakfasts were delicious, very nicely... More

Pretty village location and a great little bed and breakfast stop over. Clean, cosy and friendly with a great breakfast offering and friendly welcome. Uses local produce for breakfast and a good range of options. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms which was very comfortable. Adequate shower in the small bathroom but bed super comfy.

Good comfortable clean room. Very good service -nothing too much trouble. Very good breakfast. We stayed over weekend and dinner was only served Mon-Thurs, so you would need to eat out. Would definitely visit again. Would definitely visit again.

Situated in a nice area close to Northampton Town Centre but right on the edge of beautiful countryside with walks and local attractions on the doorstep. This hotel offers a good night's rest followed by a hearty breakfast.

We stayed here last week for four nights while on business in the area. We had room 22, a great room, it is a little away from the main part of the hotel so it's quiet and there is access directly into the parking lot - for ease. Great wifi and lots of plug points as well as a desk... More

Great stay. Very helpful and friendly staff. The owner made us feel very welcome and the room was lovely. Whilst I am more than happy to give my feedback I think trip adviser should not set a minimun amount of characters to have to write!

The Poplars is an excellent place to stay for the business traveller, the owners and staff are friendly, efficient and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the food is excellent. The car park can get crowded for late arrivals, but the owners always seem to be able to squeeze you in somewhere. Overall an excellent stay.
