We have stayed at Harthill on several occasions now and always enjoyed our stay. The children love the pool and hot tub and the cottage has everything you need for a weekend away from home. Looking forward to returning again soon.

The whole family (13 including baby) stayed in the Manor House for 4 nights. The accommodation is certainly full of character, and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a hit with adults and children. There were a few minor maintenance issues which needed sorting out, but nothing major. The layout upstairs is a bit difficult to work out...

We found this the perfect base for our 4-night trip to the Derbyshire Dales. The accommodation (Hartle cottage) was exactly what we were looking for even though it is the only one without a hot tub (which we knew before booking). We would definitely visit again.

We stayed at Henry's haunt which is a beautiful little cottage, with four poster bed and private hot tub. The owners knew this was for our mini moon and had left us a bottle of prosecco and chocolates, which was a lovely touch, thank you. The best bit was the hot tub - we loved it and were in it...

We stayed here as a group of two families of 4 in Cokaynes, which completely exceeded our expectations. We were also lucky enough to to be able to have a wander around the Manor House during our holiday too, which was authentic and simply exquisite. So much history - would truly love to stay there in the future. The view...

Stayed here with my family and felt very let down by what the website stated and the actual place. The rooms were very dark with very little lighting, the kitchen was under equipped, the pool was freezing which having two small children was ridiculous, the games room was terrible, it seemed like an afterthought it wasn't worth visiting. .The place...

Lovely had a great time lovely place. Private and large enough inside and out. Only negatives only 1 over the bath shower between 10 of us. 2 outside loungers and hot tub for 4 persons. Nowhere to dry towels if weather is bad. Lovely scenery from Deferrers cottage with privacy.

I stayed here in June 2014 for my hen do, we wanted something relaxed and I've always loved Bakewell. I found Harthill hall after browsing for somewhere in the Derbyshire area and I must say that the photos of the place do not do it justice. We stayed in Defferes and it was beautiful, there was 7 of us staying...

This was our third visit to Harthill Hall we booked at last minute and didn't check we'd book a cottage with a private hot tub (we hadn't booked a private hot tub ), we asked and where delighted to be upgraded . Again our cottage was quirky , beautiful furnished and with every thing we'd could possibly want . The...

Twelve of us stayed for three nights in the Manor House to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We usually stay in hotels but it would have been difficult to accommodate this number in one hotel. I do feel that 4pm is a little late to check-in as you have to leave at 10 am and therefore, practically lose a day. However,...
