Stayed here with 18 others for my 30th birthday in October. Great accommodation, large communal spaces, comfy beds and very helpful staff at the pub next door. Highly recommend to any group large and small - just what we were looking for !
Stopped on the way passed for lunch. Place was empty as it had only just opened but had a friendly greeting. Pint of old speckled hen was well poured. Had the all day breakfast and was offered a choice of either toast or oatcakes. Never...More

A vaguely modern pub with a proper locals end. The locals are all friendly and most helpful with directions and banter. Good plain pub food with decent portions, don't expect waiters? Choices of beers, lagers and wines are acceptable.
