I have just spent my worst night ever in a hotel, having had only 2-3 hours sleep. There is a major problem with lack of sound-proofing within the hotel. Despite having asked for a quiet room I was surrounded by members of a Hen party, who arrived back at 2am banging doors and shouting in the corridor outside my room....

Overall a good place to stay. Toilet in first room was ancient and not working. Got moved to larger room which had been upgraded and was very nice. Ask for the double. Hotel has a modern feel with a funky 70s vibe. Breakfast was fine. Staff very nice. No A/C in the rooms.

Pros: Location, bar looked ok, decent shower pressure Cons: Damp, small rooms & tiny bathrooms, old & moldy Despite moving rooms, both rooms were equally nasty. Bathrooms were so small that the toilet seat doesn't actually fit against the wall. I do a huge amount of business travel and this is the worst hotel I have experienced. The rooms are...

I spent last night in the hotel. Following a review of the website I had high expectations, however my room did not meet them. I was allocated room 205. When I opened the room door I was presented with a very small room - luckily I was travelling alone as it would have been a squeeze for two of us...

The hotel is a few minutes ride from train station. Beautiful reception and bar area. Fresh lollies and chandelier s. Shame our rooms weren't as good. My room on 6th floor was spacious double and rather cold. Bed was very firm but I slept ok until I was awoken by talking at 4am from next room. Cistern in bathroom also...

Our stay a couple of weeks ago was really good, our room was spacious with a wonderful bathroom and all facilities that we needed. We had breakfast included and the food was plentiful with lots of choice, hot or cold choices. Great design of hotel and beautifully furnished with nice select furnishings.

This hotel have dark colors and I do not like the design. The rooms are comfortable and large. Bed is ok and bathroom is nice. Room was clean. I liked the breakfast but not the breakfastroom. Smelly flowers in the reception. Staff was good.

What a lovely little hotel this is! Bed was super comfortable, as were the pillows. There was a lovely little bottle of pillow spray to aid sleep. Nice touch! Will definitely be going again as it's better than most other hotels I've tried in Nottingham in that price range.
