Visited here in December and I know you get what you pay for but for this time I was disappointed. The lady at reception was lovely and helpful but the room was not up to the usual standard of premier inn. There was cup marks still on the bedside table, there was a lamp missing of the wall and looked like a mirror should have also been in place on the wall as with other premier inns I've stayed at. The corridor had a lot of noise up till around 4am with people arguing and then playing music ( which I understand is not the hotels fault but did make the night a totally sleepless one ) and the final straw was in the morning whilst doing a final check to see if there was any items I had missed whilst packing my case, under our bed was empty chocolate wrappers that were still under the bed each were not ours!! I've stayed in other premiers and not had this anywhere else. The location is perfect but needs more attention to the cleaning side.

Staying just one night, to celebrate our daughter's 21st. Safia was lovely and very helpful, as were all the reception staff. Hotel is perfect location for shops and nightlife. Our bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Can always rely on premier inn!

Good location close to the city centre but in a location where noise was not a problem and plenty of restaurant options nearby, friendly staff happy to help with any queries. And as usual nice and clean and a fantastic shower.

Generally grubby everywhere. You are welcomed at the front door by beer bottles and cigarette ends. Dissapointed too that the police were trying to find an old guy a room for the night who had become homeless that day. He had £40. Receptionist said a room was £58.50 but may be cheaper online. I checked later and a room was £48. I felt guilty the whole of my stay thinking a out the guy being on the streets. I regretted not paying for a room myself for him. Shame the hotel did not try to help. That evening we lost electricity on our 4th floor room on 3 occasions. The fuse kept blowing in a room and affected our room too. I stay regularly at premier inn but this visit was our worst ever stay for lots of reasons.
