Stayed here prior to University Open Day. Well located for this purpose. Adequate for a short stay. Breakfast good value. Lino floor on our triple room was very basic. Bedroom furniture looked like it came from a 1970s house clearance sale.

I spent a single night here with my girlfriend in November 2016. We chose the hotel due to its convenient location for the University and because the special offer at The Britannia had ended, making the P&J Hotel the cheapest on this night. The hotel kindly allowed us to check in an hour earlier than their official check in time... More

P and J is an old fashioned hotel very conveniently located close to Nottingham University. It is between 2 or 3 stars category in my mind as it looks more like a BB than a proper hotel. I found the room to be very cold and the bathroom water too. Furnitures, mattress and bed were dated and bath towels were... More

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to nearby family and because it allows dogs. It was perfect for both. Our room was downstairs and accessed direct from the car park (perfect with a dog). Staff were really friendly. Room was adequate, though shower showing signs of age. Breakfast was prompt, good choice and good quality. It's a 3... More

Derby Road is a good location for transport and there is limited free parking at this hotel so best arrive early afternoon if possible but there should be room for everyone if you park sensibly. Very helpful Staff and excellent breakfast. Clean room and facilities and the bed was comfortable. Constant hot water. Although would recommend this hotel the décor... More
