This supposedly dog friendly pub didn't seem quite so pleased to se us with dogs as we expected. the beers were nice and the food looked lovely. We tried to book a particular part of the pub for sunday Lunch for our large group of 8 adults and one infant and 2 dogs but we were not allowed to book...

Called in to this charming Cotswold gastro pub for Sunday lunch today. The goats cheese souffle was as light as a feather and beautifully presented. The roast lamb was perfectly cooked and served with mashed swede and carrot, red cabbage, duck fat roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and minted gravy - all faultless!. Service was quick and efficient. Just wish it...

On a positive note the lamb Inn was very friendly and welcoming. A beautiful open fire and great service through out. The Allium room was first class beautifully presented well appointed and a real treat. Our dining experience on the other hand was appalling . The dining room itself was stiff and uninviting . More atmosphere on the moon ....

Beautiful location, incredible ambience and outstanding food - unfortunately - the service was slow and not precise, food was almost cold, and, for a restaurant of this category not having a fully functioning bar is a handicap.

The ambience is comfy, old world charm and the staff are attentive. My husband and I spent our gift voucher on a bar meal and had 2 deli boards, one with meats and one with anti pesto both of which we shared. They were the best sharing platters we have had in the Cotswolds. I can wholeheartedly recommend this establishment...

This place is truly amazing. Built in the 1400s & turned in to an inn in 1702. The staff are so friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The menu & quality of meals was fantastic, beds very comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Inn & would definitely stay here again. The only problem...

Visited here a couple of years ago for dinner, so decided on this visit to stay here. A delightful (old) hotel that began as an Inn over 500 years ago. We chose the Allium Suite, which is huge, and also has an enormous bathroom. Food in the Bar is great.

This hotel is fantastic not only on food but it's hospitality, the staff are so kind and helpful, polite. From the minute you arrive nothing is to much bother. The inn is warm , we stayed last night , the log fires burning so welcoming. We choose to eat in the dining room, and the food is fabulous fine dining...

The Cotswolds/Burford - what we found with Lamb Inn is that residents love it for the pub and restaurant alike. And we loved it for the staff, room, inviting pub w multiple fireplaces (food quite good) and excellent full breakfast included. Restaurant menu is very nice - 2,3 or 8 course and though very inviting, we stuck to the pub...
