My husband and I had lunch here over the weekend. The food was lovely, I had squid salad and my husband had a sharing board. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. The Inn is very pretty, the garden is quite large and as the weather was so nice we decided to sit out rather than cram into the bar area....

My husband and I try to visit my old home/school town every year and for the last 2 years have returned to stay at the wonderful Lamb Inn. This time we stayed in The Shepherd Room and previously Rosie Room. Despite recovering from a recent hip replacement I was not deterred by the stairs and this very old hotel offers...

Had an amazing meal with friends last night . Excellent service and the food was the best we had ever had . Shame other diners let it done by having too much to drink , and felt it was acceptable to enter a restaurant without shoes , and language you we really didn't expect to hear in a fine dining...

After a disastrous meal the previous night ( read my last review ) my friends recommended the Lamb Inn as they had previously eaten here and had a quality meal. They were also feeling guilty after taking me to the "place that shall not be named" We arrived to a friendly, warm greeting with seats around the open fire and...

The Lamb Inn is a perfect example of what a small hotel/Inn should be. This was our second stay in the Lamb but it is plain to see that they have got the formula just right. The rooms are spacious and well apointed, although the stairs to the room were a little steep, but in a building that is twice...

Your praise is gratefully received. We genuinely try to make every guest’s stay as pleasing as possible and there is a regular check on standards to make sure that we are moving in the correct direction. The right formula is individual for each hotel and I am over the moon that you feel we have reached this.Thank you and please...

Stopped off here for lunch, with friends who had previously visited. The sandwiches were filling and the rooms were full of character-all real fires and low ceilings in a building older than some countries!

What a great review. Thank you. We hope that you will return when summer is here and we can welcome you to a seat in our beautiful garden instead of by a fire. Rest assured that regardless of season, a drop of rain or dip in temperature and the fires are back on! Thanks again, Bill Ramsay

I turned up at 9pm on a dark and cold Tuesday night to be met with open fires roaring and a very friendly and welcoming gent who quickly brought me an excellent pint of ale and a fantastic meal (Guinea Fowl). This is a well run, clean and hospitable hotel. Ive read some of the other reviews which are disappointing...

We stopped off on our way home when we needed a meal. We visited with our young children late afternoon. The service was quick and attentive and the food was good. It was relatively good value. We would definitely return.

Thank you for your kind review. We have adapted our children’s menu to represent greater value and hopefully healthy children’s food and I am pleased that you have brought yours here to enjoy. I hope that we will see you again soon for a quick stop off or more. Kind regards, Bill Ramsay

Visited and stayed overnight many times over the last few years and this hotel is just fabulous for a short break in the Cotswolds. The 'Allium' bedrooms is just out of this world and the bathroom even has its own tv you can watch from the roll-top bath, while drinking your champagne......or Prosecco. Staff are excellent as is the service...

Stayed at The Lamb last week for a 3 night break. Everything about the place says "relax and enjoy". The staff are all excellent, attentive and thoroughly helpful, Our bedroom was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. Food, without doubt, was wonderful, especially evening meals in the restaurant. Local drought bitter was also of a high standard.I'm sure we will...
