The service and staff were extremely courteous and helpful in every way. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, bright and quiet. We had 14 ladies and each were satisfied

We stayed here in March. Our room was clean, comfortable and provided all we needed and mote. We ate dinner in the restaurant and we were completely blown away by how lovely it was ...it was absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked and presented ...just fantastic. Well worth going!

What a lovely inn! This exceeded my expectations. The inn is small but so beautifully appointed you know you are in a place that is well loved by its owners, and thus its guests! Our room was beautifully custom decorated and was very comfortable. And the artwork! The common rooms were just as nice with nice fires to read by...

Burford is a pretty little place and the Lamb Inn is delightful with old world charm, modern food and very helpful and pleasant staff. The taster menu is to die for - have now been 3 times and just wished I lived nearer!

Our walking group visited The Lamb following a fabulous circular walk today. Twelve of us sat down together and were served by delightful staff within a very reasonable time. The choice was varied, the quality superb and prices to suit all pockets. The Lamb has a large restaurant divided into several areas, with additional seating in the garden. It all...

We visited the Lamb Inn again for the weekend, and it was as good as ever. This time my dad and my brother joined us to celebrate dad's 80th (promised I wouldn't tell anyone - oops!). They looked after us all so well - it really is like visiting friends. The dog was in his element too - and thoroughly...

What a sight to see, walk through the entrance only to be met by blazing log fires, what an impressive experience. Never mind the food, or the service they both speak for themselves, but the sight and the smell of log fires is enough to warm the soul. This is a great hotel serving great food, smashing, just smashing. We...

If you're looking for the five star Cotswold hotel experience, this is it. The uneven stone floors, the low beams, the blazing log fires, the antique furnishings and the comfortable quirky bedrooms provide a glimpse into the past. The bed and the fresh linen were luxurious. My only slight niggle was that the water pressure in the shower could have...

We went for Sunday lunch which I had booked by telephone three days previously. Met in bar by waiter who couldn't find booking, he went to get a manager who pretty aggressively asked if it was "The Lamb in Burford" that I had booked, and then said they were full for lunch. I described the conversation I had on booking....

This is a very well managed hotel which retains all its old world character with modern levels of service. We stayed overnight in very comfortable well appointed rooms and had lunch and a meal in the bar in the evening. The lunch was taken in the lovely garden area of the hotel on a sunny day and we sat there...
