Our 4 day stay in April was a perfect culmination to a wonderful driving trip through English Midlands before tackling the bustle of London. Home is as depicted in photos...garden, decor, breakfast all excellent. Our only disappointment was the " King" sized bed was barely a Queen by North American/European standards. However, we found this to be an issue elsewhere...

We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend. Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful and set in a pretty village just outside of Burford. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was so delicious and the variety was beyond our expectations. Caroline and her husband were a delight. Their attention to the small details really sets them...

Amazing experience in such a premium relaxing environment. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming and served us a freshly made delicious breakfast. The cottage is at the heart of the beautiful cotswold, with restaurants and traditional award winning pubs in just a few miles away.

How often do you see somewhere on Tripadvisor that has a n.b.r. (. No Bad Report.) ? As all your reports say this is run by professionals and just everything is perfect. They even built a really comfortable dining and sitting room, with an open fire in the Winter, just for their guests.

Box Tree Cottage is a delightful and beautiful guest house which provide anyone who is fortunate enough to stay here with a very high standard of accommodation in the Cotswolds. The room in which we stayed was just as it appears on the web site, warm and comfortable with a stunning en-suite shower room. Our hosts, Caroline and Richard were...

If you were to share my personal wish-list for a b&b in midwinter, you would find a log-fire, and comfortable arm chairs where you could sit and read when the darkness gathered outside, a warm bedroom with lovely heavy curtains and a cosy bed which makes getting up difficult save for the knowledge of the glorious breakfast which is to...

We stayed at Box Tree Cottage for 3 nights in October. It is a beautiful property situated in a quiet village just over a mile outside Burford. We were welcomed with a pot of tea and scones by Caroline and made to feel very relaxed and at home. Our room was perfect in every way with high quality bed linen,...

My parents and I had both rooms at Box Tree Cottage for 3 nights over a weekend and used it as a base to tour around the Cotswolds. Caroline and Richard were wonderful hosts. The rooms were comfortable, well fit out, modern bathrooms and a very comfortable bed! Breakfasts were amazing! more food than we could possibly eat and cooked...

Stayed for three nights in September, just a pity it could not have been longer. What can I add to the many excellent reviews already written? Not a lot. From the minute we arrived, being met by Caroline with a very warm handshake, a pot of tea and a jam and cream scone, we felt at home. The accommodation, food...

I can only echo so much of what has already been said about this B&B; it really is about as good as it gets. Comfortable room; very clean; well equipped; friendly, welcoming and helpful; good breakfast; delightful, picture-book property. There is so much that is done well, it was a great choice. Happy to recommend and would love to return...
