The Bull could not be any better positioned to enjoy the delights of Burford, set as it is, half way down the long main street. Our excellent, warm and well appointed room was at the back of the hotel, away from the hustle and bustle, the only slight drawback being that we had to cross the small courtyard to get...

We stayed one night for a wedding at a neighbouring hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful. They accommodated our early check in request and the breakfast was amazing! The room was clean and well appointed over looking the high street. There is parking but it is tight. All in all a fab stay and a great little find, we...

We were just a family of four looking for lunch to break our journey travelling from London to Cheltenham. We ate in the bar and were blown away by the quality of what we had. We could have gone for tapas but stuck to the English favourites, and were not disappointed. The chefs plainly take pride in their work and...

Great place for a business stay. I've stayed on three different occasions now. The latest changes and new Spanish Management make for a pleasant change. On my last stay I was disappointed with the evening meal and my room. I had room #11 and its window seems to be right beside the kitchens exhaust outlet. I was able to smell...

Had an overnight stay at a great rate, so expected a lower grade room. However we found the double room excellent, all amenities you would need, a very comfortable bed and a really powerful shower and all kept immaculate. The building is very old and therefore the floors fall and rise and doors are low, but this all makes the...

Fantastic hotel , good value for money (we had small double room) .. inc breakfast which was scrummy and made to order! The staff were lovely and so helpful .. the only little downfall was the size of the bed as hubby is 6ft4 it was a little short (as it was a pine headed and bottom bed!) but that's...

For lots of years, coaches called here and weary travellers stayed and were refreshed. Us and our friends too. A warm welcome, nice room, buckets of history in a quintessential Cotswold village. Modest price and one of the very best breakfasts that you will find. Five star hotels will provide you with smoked haddock and kippers but don't produce the...

We have visited here previously and again the food was great. The game was fantastic and done really well. It was really quiet for a Saturday night and it certainly deserves to be busier. We will definitely be going back.

I've stayed at The Bull twice now, both times in the area for business. The staff has always been super friendly and very accommodating. My first stay was 5 star...the second slightly less stellar due to an issue I discovered with the provided tea service in the room (it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guest). I should state that...

We enjoyed our stay, breakfast was delicious and served by friendly staff, our room was no 5 James 1st. It was clean and comfortable, with great views out of the bathroom window ,we could see the early morning mist then after breakfast we could see blue skies. It was all perfect and wish we could have stayed a bit longer..hope...
