You really must experience this pub, whether it's to stay or just for a drink. Always welcoming and just full of character and characters 😀I've stayed several times and never been disappointed. Good range of beers, wines and lagers and excellent food.

My Fiancée and I wanted a relaxing break and The Falkland Arms was perfect! Such a beautiful, characterful building, our room was lovely, comfy and well equipped (real coffee and cafetierre) . We ate in all 3 nights and every meal was excellent - the BEST Sunday roast ever!. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Having read reviews on here before...

What a fantastic old building. A great location to stay in the Cotswolds. I can't fault the service or food, staff were very welcoming and i though the prices were reasonable for the area. Highly recommended.

A very pleasant stay. However, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable in room 3. Excellent service, great food in the restaurant at reasonable prices. Very hearty breakfast served with a smile. Would stay again but in a different room Lovely local walks.

Visited the Falkland Arms with our friends last Sunday evening whilst staying in The Cotswolds for a long weekend. This pub, in the middle of nowhere (or so it seemed in the dark) was packed - thank goodness we'd booked! Only limited menu on offer, but we settled for the Sunday roasts which were delicious. Another bonus was the folk...

Booked two nights stayed one. Friendly booking in and services was polite although I never got the feeling that things were totally in control. Poor sirloin steak( tough as old boots) waitress was apologetic. Evening Meal ate in the presence of a many dogs belonging to visitors and locals (Jack Russell type breeds mainly which ran amok and through my...

We booked impulsively and wished we hadn't! From sitting in the bar with dogs barking, owners yelling "shut up", dogs cocking their legs and weeing on the stone floor.....we should have known and not stayed. However, we gave it a chance. The steak was a piece of rubbery meat almost inedible, the chicken ok and the accompanying vegetables and chips...

The place was recommended but the food we had wasn't good , fish pie had very little fish and the vegetables were almost non not present ,my chips were liquid inside and very greasy. The atmosphere is good and worth a visit if your this way for a drink.

Popped in for a lunch whilst in the area, 4th time of trying to get a table and finally managed it - really should book ahead. Lovely, old village pub, friendly staff and a good selection of pub grub. I look forward to a return trip.

The Falkland Arms is exactly what you want from an ancient, small, ye olde country pub. Perfect. The roast dinner was THE BEST I've had in a very, very long time! Delicious! Worth every penny. The staff were fab, very friendly & smiley. The table was wonky, the ancient windows drafty but there was a warm welcome and I could've...
