Everything about the Acorn was wonderfull from the staff to the room and the continental breakfast. Very clean, well located and superb value. An easy 5 star recommendation. 10 minutes walk or £2.80 return on the bus from the centre of Oxford it is ideally situated and limited off street parking is a benefit. I was in room 8 which...

Great little B&B on Iffley Road, super conveniently located for what we needed to do in Oxford (bus to Rose Hill, walk/bus to town & walk to Cowley Road) We had the double ensuite room A6 on the top floor overlooking the back garden - gorgeous district views! The room was big enough to not feel cramped & the double...

A really lovely place to stay with everything you could possibly need provided. Comfortable, warm, airy, spotlessly clean. The hosts are so welcoming. Very convenient for links to the city and Kassam Stadium. Highly recommended. A true home from home.

My parents loved their stay here. The room was clean, lovingly decorated and absolutely fine size-wise (the owner said sorry for it being quite small, but I and my parents agree that it was absolutely fine for their purposes and didn't need to be any larger, especially since there was enough room to store clothing and suitcases!). The bed was...

My wife and I have just returned from a two night stay at the Acorn We were in Oxford to attend a wedding at the university and can highly recommend this B&B. We found the Acorn to be extremely clean and tidy and our room had all the facilities we needed including free wi-fi which worked perfectly unlike some hotels....

This is a private house converted to bed & breakfast. The location is not exactly central but there is a bus stop close by and the city centre is just a 5 minute ride away. The neighbourhood is quiet and there are a few stores nearby. There are at least 8 rooms available between two floors, some of which are...

Acorn Guesthouse is reasonably priced and is located on a major bus line not far from downtown Oxford. If you want to visit Oxford and not pay a fortune, Acorn is a great option. The rooms are modern and very clean and the staff is quite helpful and courteous.

This seemed to be one of the more reasonably priced B&Bs in Oxford and so it probably represents good value for this city. The room was quite basic and a bit dated in terms of furniture and decor but it was clean and comfortable. The shared bathrooms were kept very clean. We stayed for 2 nights and on the first...

overall excellent experience. Great breakfast spread, friendly puppy dog and helpful host family. They collected our forwarded mail and made allowances for us arriving late in the evening, helped with taxis and information about walking in the area. We would definitely stay there again. Rooms were clean and spacious, maybe a bit dated but comfortable with all the regular amenities...and...
