Lured by the description on the Sawday website and reassured by TA reviews, we booked here for 1 night with another couple. It was a damp, dreary autumn day when we arrived unsure as to whether we were in the correct place as there did not seem to be a sign or a door on the side of the house...

Essentially. Cannot recommend this charming place highly enough. Is very stylish , gorgeous breakfasts, in a stunning location close to both Oxford , and Le Manoir. Trip advisor demands more characters. But hopefully the message is posted. Visit is essential Howard

We have been wanting to stay in a thatch for a while now and it lived up to every expectation. Low timber beams, steep stairs, uneven floors, thick walls, big dining table, Aga cooker and an old characterful cottage. Katrina was really nice and actually quite casual. We enjoyed having a chat with the host with good recommendations for lunch,...

We stayed 1 night for our visit to Le Manor, we ordered a Taxi which turned up on time and also picked us up after the meal, it was £15 each way, good value I thought so he got a good tip. We were treated very warmly by one of the dogs when we entered the garden, they were lovely...

Well located for Le Manoir and lovely local countryside. Convenient for M40. Lovely beds and bedding. Spoltlessly clean. Friendly owner. The stay went very well and we would definately return. Great breakfast also.

Willow Cottage is a lovely cottage in the country but only 6 miles from the centre of Oxford. We stayed in The Barn which was very comfortable, clean and roomy - excellent brekkie from the friendly Katrina. Ideal stay for Le Manoir, just a 10 minute taxi ride away.

Katrina was the perfect host - a stunning cottage with great amenities and a picture-perfect setting. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and Katrina gave us great tips for sight-seeing around the area. Zebbie and Echo the labradors were great fun to be around, and the entire experience was fantastic. Breakfasts were delicious and a highlight of the day for us....

I booked at very short notice and was delighted to have a lovely room with its own little sitting room attached as well. Lots of hot water, crisp cotton sheets and a warm duvet ensured a perfect night's sleep. Katrina's breakfast was all I could have wished for and beautifully presented. The cottage is a fascinating mix of traditional thatch...

We stayed in the cosy, converted barn which has its own private terrace in a beautiful country garden. The barn is very clean and comfortably furnished with a large sofa, very high quality duvet and bed linen, tv, large hostess tray with tea/coffee making facilities and some bottled water. There is a hair dryer in the chest of drawers and...

Lovely room with all required amenities (great shower!) and very clean.... thatched period cottage.... welcoming host Katrina. Sound night's sleep and hearty traditional breakfast... plus good conversation with our host- who didn't push herself on us ....would definitely revisit and recommend to friends..
