My wife and I visited Oxford for a few days this Christmas, and needed a place to stay which was central, and comfortable. The Old Bank did not disappoint, the staff were exceptionally friendly from the time we made our booking, to when we left. We drove into Oxford by car, which was not a problem, the hotel has off...

Visited Oxford to celebrate my partner's birthday. I mentioned this upon booking and on arrival we were upgraded. Normally you can only book two nights on the weekend, however as I booked in advance over the phone I could book only 1. The room was exquisite. A humongous bed, and bathroom with a bath and separate shower. We were greeted...

I can't fault Old Bank Hotel. The location is perfect for exploring Oxford on foot as it is right in the centre of town. The hotel is stunning - modern and tasteful but in a lovely old building. We had a room overlooking The High and and St Mary's Church. Our room was beautifully furnished and had everything you could...

It's very centrally located in the middle of town and they provide loaner bikes free of charge. The hotel and the room itself is beautiful, full of good energy, every detail is carefully curated and aesthetically pleasing. Room service was lovely as well as the gentleman who brought us our food multiple times and helped with our luggage. Staff was...

The hotel is a beautiful mix of modern and classy interior in an old building with beautiful Georgian windows. We requested to have a newly refurbished classic room and it was beautiful - probably the cleanest room we have ever stayed at. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet (we also requested to have a room looking out the...

I had an overnight stay in Oxford due to a meeting at Oxford University. We struggled a bit to find the parking entrance to the hotel, but after a while of driving up and down the street we saw a tiny brown sign pointing us to the right back road. The car was somewhat oversized compared to the entrance, but...

Wonderful hotel in an ideally central location with onsite free parking. The service was friendly and impeccable and all of the staff were brilliant. Would we go there again - without hesitation. Would I recommend it - certainly. So what were the three niggles? Well, they were all to do with our room: Room 31. First, let me say that...

Staff are excellent. Rooms are small but adequate. Very comfortable. Perfect location so you don't need a car. Only negatives are:- No tea facilities in room which is unusual for an expensive hotel. Isabella was the complimentary tour guide and was superb. Hotel should definitely carry on offering the free tours as have suggested otherwise. They overcharge for breakfast at...

The views of the City could not be better from this hotel so try to get a room on a high level. This is an old bank building that has been restored and modernized. We had a wonderful stay, service was incredible and the room was very comfortable. You can walk everywhere from here and the hotel kindly offers a...

We stayed over Christmas. Everything was excellent about this hotel. From the central location on High St to the friendly, efficient and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and the interior design throughout the hotel is further lifted by a generous amount of quality modern artwork. There is ample private secure parking to the rear or the property and...
