We arrived earlier than expected but this was no trouble for Brenda the lovely housekeeper. Even though the owners were away we were welcomed and shown to the lodge by Brenda. She gave us plenty of information regarding where to go and eat and walks nearby. Inside the lodge it was gorgeous and tastefully decorated, with everything you could need... More

Thankyou Bella for your lovely review. Shame we didn't meet you and as it turned out your weather here at Lakeside was better than ours in Spain. Yes I have a great family backup plus Brenda and good it was the weekend of the point to point. Hope you came back richer! Theresa More

Thankyou pam for your review. You did have a splendid view of the kites and buzzards, something that I hadn't seen before. Thought we only had one buzzard around but three was fantastic. Hope to see you later this year and my next years calendar is now online as you requested. Theresa and Jim More

A very warm welcome from Theresa to this very comfortable and peacefully quiet cabin. Excellent bed (and bedding!) and all the comforts of home in this cosy self catering all-in-one. The heating was excellent because April can get a bit chilly and our delight was sitting outside on the veranda on a warm morning watching the red kites riding the... More

Absolutely amazing and outstanding is the only way to describe this tranquil oasis that is Lakeside Cabin it came as a recommendation, it's everything it say on the tin and then some. My husband and I feel Mrs Clark the owner has somewhat understated what is on offer, both inside and out. We are very keen walker/cyclists. We booked three... More

Stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The wooden cabin had been recently renovated, the decor excellent and the heating warm. As a host, Theresa was fantastic. There was a small Welcome Pack consisting of eggs, bread, milk, juice and marmalade. An intro to the village and surrounding area. The small attention to detail e.g. the WiFi password,... More

This place is perfect! A wooden cabin on the outside, a fluffy palace on the inside. All in the midst of the most beautiful lakes and gardens. The cabin is gorgeous, with a soft rug, a heater that looks like a fire, a cute little kitchen, and the most comfortable bed. The tiny window on the beamed ceiling makes it... More

The advertising for the facilities are very misleading including the photograph. There is one room only with a very small kitchen attached. No cooking stove except for two electric hotplates. No dishwasher on clothes washer.and. a very small television. Very expensive for the price asked. Better value at B&B in the area. When we complained we were asked to leave and... More
