Our long-awaited week in the Cotswolds began with a sleepless Saturday night at Five Mile. Maybe it was because we had the two front rooms...and it was a hot night...and we didn't want to close the windows... Every time silence settled, it was broken by a lorry rumbling through. We tossed and turned...all night long. But once the birds began...

We stayed in the deluxe suite as all other rooms were booked. This was very spacious and comfortable, appearing recently refurbished and had outside seating in the attractive rear garden. Breakfast was excellent and Lorraine, the manager, was extremely friendly and helpful. Being Oxford, it wasn't cheap, but we had a great overnight stay.

We stayed here for a night last week and my father-in-law and brother-in-law stayed on an extra two nights. The hostess, Lorraine (I think) was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor. Noise from the road was a bit of a problem and the room was a bit cramped, but at the price I can't complain....

The Five Mile B&B was a wonderful place to stay. We had an amazing room with our own patio. Having the small frig in the room was wonderful as well. Everything was clean and comfortable with all of the comforts of home. The bus stop is less than a block away and the bus goes right to the central city...

The personal service you only get with a small B&B. Rooms very comfortable, with high quality bed linen. Bus stop directly outside straight into the heart of Oxford. Friendly & helpful manager. Plentiful choice of breakfast with an excellent full cooked, delivered hot & fresh. Will definitely visit again!!

Our hostess Mrs Lorraine Tack is and was THE hostess of the year for us! Thank You Lorraine for a very familiar touch and warm welcome every day! You were always friendly with a smile on Your face and had always a nice word to say, a person with a huge portion of good humour and a persona with a...

I liked this property because it has recently been modernised and while the rooms are small I liked the high quality linen, the well turned out rooms (little touches like the USB charger on one of the sockets was welcome) and the well decorated walls and bathrooms. It is a short bus ride (10 minutes in non-rush hour traffic on...

We stayed here on 11 June 2016. Lorraine ,the manager, was very accommodating and welcoming. She allowed us to check-In at 11am as I emailed before hand to see if we could park up (As apparently parking in Oxford) is terrible. The bus stop is 2 minutes down the road and runs every 5 minutes to the centre of Oxford....

The room was fine. Breakfast very good. Manager Lorraine very helpful and friendly. Bed in Room 4 could do with a new mattress - quite springy & uncomfortable for 2 people. Bus stop right outside for city centre. Traffic noise all night.
