This Bed and Breakfast is well located on a major bus route into the city centre. If you are up for a bit of a walk it is not too far for that either. The room, en suite, and breakfast were all up to a good standard. The service was friendly and efficient. This will definitely be on my list... More

Great location, in a lovely city. A 10-15 minute walk into the center, there is a picturesque walk along the Thames which takes and extra 5 mins but was worth it. Ample room to park, breakfast was lovely. All in all no complaints and would definitely return.

This is a great spot for the short or long term business traveller working in Oxford or Milton Park. Express bus to Milton Park X32 is opposite, 30 minute commute, GBP 5 return. Pubs and restaurants with 10 mins walk. Oxford town centre 15 mins walk away. Dani and Martin and family and Rosie the dug are welcoming hosts. Rooms... More

Lakeside has its pros and cons. The clean up staff were very sweet, welcoming us as we arrived early in the day. Our room was on the top floor which I would not recommend. Stairs are steep and the bathroom is a floor level down (both rooms #5 and #6 have baths below) as well as small room size. We... More

We arrived quite early but our room was ready for us and we were given a friendly welcome by Daniela. Our room was large, comfortable and pristine as was our bathroom. The location was only a 10 minute walk in to Oxford, ideal for us. We would thoroughly recommend the establishment.

Room was small with an attached miniature bathroom, but worked fine for me. I was in Room 2 which was probably noisier than rooms further up. Good breakfast choices. Parking is very tight - to the extreme! No common area other than the breakfast room which is always set for breakfast (so you really can't sit in there). Be sure... More

The guest house was full the night we stayed but no problem parking and there was a note on the front desk to leave keys if blocking another car and walking out to the nearby city centre. We were in room 1 - ground floor and facing the road - not great if you're a light sleeper who likes the... More

We stayed here for three nights. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but the bed is wonderful and it is quiet, even on the road. The breakfasts are good and the bus stops near the house. We walked into town a few times, but then took the bus because we were tired.

Excellent place to stay and explore such a beautiful city. Friendly staff, lovely and comfortable room and a good location, a short walk in to the city centre and on a good bus route if too weary to walk back after a day exploring the city.
