OK so the the easiest place to find if you don't know Reading however, beautiful inside and just off the high street. Little carpark at the back which is free. Room was immaculate as was the bathroom. Plenty of hot water via a good shower. Bed are so comfy like the pillows. Almost finished with their refurbishment and its looking...

My first impressions of the Quality Hotel weren't great, as it was not easy to find the room, having to go through so many stairs and corridors, and signs were not always easy to spot. There is no elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage, better check with reception that you get a room close to the reception/breakfast...

I've given this hotel five stars because my friend and I stayed there recently, the reviews were very mixed, we were looking for something that wasn't too expensive and within our budget, honestly we weren't expecting too much, however when we got there our room was really lovely, the beds were clean with lovely white bedding, the bathroom was spacious...

Single room , very small and more or less in the eaves. Comfy bed and all coveniences in the room inluding en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee. Rather noisy at night with late night drinkers trooping past bedroom. Breakfast OK but not the finest quality especially the cooked offering. Reception staff were excellent but staff in the breakfast room seemed...

This hotel had just undergone an ownership change when I arrived, from Quality Hotel to an Ibis Style hotel. The entire hotel has basically been redone to a higher standard and I must say, actually looks really modern and clean. The Reception is not bright, modern and inviting and the rooms are very nice for a budget hotel. The carpets...

I stayed here for one night at the end of January 2017 along with other friends attending a reunion. If I'd read the reviews before I booked, I expect I'd have booked to stay elsewhere. However, I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. The lobby was clean and welcoming, as were the reception staff. The hotel is undergoing some...

I've used the quality hotel in Reading on a few occasions and have always received nice friendly service from the staff. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The toiletries, tea and coffee and toilet roll etc are all clearly aimed at the budget hotel market but that's where this hotel excels in my...

Ideally located in centre of town- closest car park Queens. Close to the Oracle for shopping and night life. They were renovating on arrival and I did find the ?manager' on duty the afternoon we arrived and the next morning quite aloof. We asked for quiet rooms and were rewarded with them. Recent deco upgrade is interesting- sadly my shower...

I stayed for the night as was in reading for my works Christmas party, the staff were great and the room very comfortable, checking in and out was very easy and the room and hotel was very clean, didn't go for breakfast, but got a drink from the bar and this was very good with good service.

I needed a reasonably priced place at short notice when we hosted some people from the US last summer. I stayed here and was grossly disappointed. The place is poorly kept, both in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. Grossly overpriced for product value it aims to serve.
