Travelodge is Travelodge, you know what to expect when booking, just the basic's. Yes the rooms have been upgraded, the bathrooms upgraded but it's still basic & somewhere to lay your head for the night. As with most Travelodges no cooked breakfast is offered, but on the same site the World Turned Upside Down pub which offers unlimited breakfast for...

We stayed one night at this hotel and it was clean, comfortable and very good value for money. We ate at the adjoining Crown Carvery and the food was hot and very acceptable, and also good value for money.

Visited the hotel on an overnight stay...the hotel is affordable & clean. The staffs are friendly & accommodating. A good value for money,I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for good night sleep & value for money. Added bonus is very accessible for the cinema & local amenities.

Stayed here twice, one night at a time because of business in the area; quite a tired-looking place - wouldn't bring a date here lol - but good value, quiet location, comfy bed and decent shower so overall very happy. Reception staff were helpful too.

Had other guests running up and down the halls banging on doors for many hours.... when we complained to the staff they shrugged it off like it was nothing Also had dirty bed sheets and only one towel for two people to use

Basic, but clean. The staff are the best aspect of this hotel, Friendly and willing to help. It is the same stock design, but has a pub attached. Now this is good. Excellent buffet and very well priced, I Recommend the pub if nothing else.

I booked three nights...too much for this hotel, one night is the max you can afford, no services at all. Room clean, heating system works fine, towels with bad smelling, horrible shampoo/shower gel, poor wify signal.

I booked and paid for a room for myself and my mum to go to a family event, upon arrival a member of staff was in the pub next door chatting to the bar staff about how she was "skiving off work" then as we walked round to the enterance of the hotel she was in the door way smoking...

Stayed here for 1 night as had meetings in Reading. Stayed in room 9 which was pretty much next to the stairs and the reception which was quite noisy. Disappointed with the grotty bathroom. There was hair in the bath plughole. And it just felt like it needed a good scrub. Bed was comfortable. Limited TV choice. No radio 4.

unfortunately I had to stay here for 5 nights. the staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was large and the bed comfortable. despite overlooking the car park and being close to a pub it was pretty quiet. the bathroom was a little bit grungy as was the whole hotel - but clean enough. the TV/Radio channels are limited-...
