I found Barnfield House a perfect place to stay; very quiet, very nice room (large, cool, airy), super breakfast and easy to walk to the pub for dinner (10-15 minute walk). Slept really well and Helen and Michael made me very welcome. Will stay here again when in the Sheffield area.

...that this is the Best B&B in the Sheffield area (and quite possibly the world!) A return visit, sadly only overnight, for an Olly Murs concert at the Arena and as per first visit see my May 2016 'Heaven' review every thing was excellent. Stayed in 'Little John' room, lovely quiet and very comfortable room at the back of the...

I cannot recommend this lovely place enough. I stayed for one night, arriving tired and fed-up after driving from Cardiff and received the most friendly welcome, and good advice to get my supper at the nearby Old Horns pub, which has was tasty and filling. The room was immaculate, with deep, soft luxury carpets, great bathroom products too, fluffy robes...

We haven't been for a while but we were greeted like old friends. The room was lovely - we stayed in the big bedroom at the front this time - and the breakfast was very very good. We can't recommend it highly enough and I am sure we will stay again.

This b and b is so close to Sheffield but feels miles away, the location is so pretty and yet despite being on the main road is so quiet ( as set back on the hill). Our room was large, modern and spotless, with a substantial en~suite bathroom and both were well heated. The dining room is spacious and breakfast...

My wife and I are just back from a 2 night stay at Barnfield House in Loxley, Sheffield. The rooms are all modelled on a Robin Hood character, and we were in Will Scarlett, with a lovely view over the local farmland and hills. The reception area was decked out with Xmas decorations, including special cushions, pictures and other paraphenalia...

I can't speak too highly of Barnfield House. The owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful and the location is lovely. My room, which was well appointed and had a 4-poster bed, had extensive views over the surrounding countryside.

My daughter and I were made welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room was spotless, with lovely homely touches - chocolates, slippers, bathrobes and very comfy beds. Beautiful breakfast too. Thank you Helen and Michael xx

We stayed recently for a Somme commemoration at the church in nearby Bradfield. Well appointed rooms, lovely hosts and a good breakfast. We also enjoyed a meal at the Admiral Rodney which is close by. Our only regret is that we didn't stay more than one night! Maybe next time ...
