Spent a wonderful night here with my wife last week to visit the area and sample the lovely Bradfield Brewery Beers and infamous "Pie Night" at the Nags Head. Our superior room "Friar Tuck" was spacious and very well equipped with all the amenities you'd find in a big-chain hotel, even a robe and slippers which was impressive. The little...

Absolutely beautiful b&b, very welcoming. The scenery is lovely. Every attention to detail has been made at Bardfield, it was Easter weekend & was lovely to see the little touches such as Happy Easter cards in the room, personalised, little bowls treats, mini eggs, chocolates etc. The room was fantastic, stayed in the Maids Marion room, very comfortable 4 poster...

Very clean and very comfortable B & B. Friendly owners who work well together. Take their advice on where to eat locally-I didn't and it was a mistake. One of the best breakfasts I have had anywhere-thank you Michael! Slept well and hope to return one day.

Spent a lovely few days at Barnfield House. Very comfortable accommodation and the excellent breakfast set us up for the day. It's so nice to wake up in the quiet country side with such perfect views. Lots of local wildlife just outside our window. The owners were very welcoming. The location Is only 20 minutes from Sheffield city centre. Would...

I found Barnfield House a perfect place to stay; very quiet, very nice room (large, cool, airy), super breakfast and easy to walk to the pub for dinner (10-15 minute walk). Slept really well and Helen and Michael made me very welcome. Will stay here again when in the Sheffield area.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us! We are delighted that you enjoyed our hospitality and the quality of the rooms and breakfast. ...that this is the Best B&B in the Sheffield area (and quite possibly the world!) A return visit, sadly only overnight, for an Olly Murs concert at the Arena and as per first visit see my May 2016 'Heaven' review every thing was excellent. Stayed in 'Little John' room, lovely quiet and very comfortable room at the back of the...

I cannot recommend this lovely place enough. I stayed for one night, arriving tired and fed-up after driving from Cardiff and received the most friendly welcome, and good advice to get my supper at the nearby Old Horns pub, which has was tasty and filling. The room was immaculate, with deep, soft luxury carpets, great bathroom products too, fluffy robes...

We haven't been for a while but we were greeted like old friends. The room was lovely - we stayed in the big bedroom at the front this time - and the breakfast was very very good. We can't recommend it highly enough and I am sure we will stay again.

This b and b is so close to Sheffield but feels miles away, the location is so pretty and yet despite being on the main road is so quiet ( as set back on the hill). Our room was large, modern and spotless, with a substantial en~suite bathroom and both were well heated. The dining room is spacious and breakfast...

My wife and I are just back from a 2 night stay at Barnfield House in Loxley, Sheffield. The rooms are all modelled on a Robin Hood character, and we were in Will Scarlett, with a lovely view over the local farmland and hills. The reception area was decked out with Xmas decorations, including special cushions, pictures and other paraphenalia...
