We have stayed at the sister hotel and can't believe this is the same company!! I will review this time.. this will be our final stay.. So if...

The room we had was nicely decorated - the wooden panelling on one wall complimented the purples and greys throughout the room. The room was clean, spacious and had all the amenities (kettle with fresh biscuits, tea/coffee, menus and information, clean towels, etc.). The bed was also very comfortable. And when we switched on the television, there was a personalised...

Stayed for two nights whilst a family member was in hospital, the reception area was modern and refreshing, the room however was very dark on entry as the curtains were drawn, once I opened them a freezing cold breeze was evident as I realised the cable for the TV had been routed through the open window across behind the wardrobe, the room...

The Rutland hotel I'm sure has seen better days but we booked it largely because of its closeness to the hospital and we were only going to be there for one night. Having read some of the reviews, we chose to book an "Executive" room (circa £110 per night on this occasion) in the hope that we would avoid some...

Upon arrival everything about the hotel was extremely poor, ultimately why the whole experience was terrible. The website advertises parking facilities however the car park is small and access is uncontrolled. As many non-residents appear to use the hotel for hospital parking, it's very difficult to get a space. I ended up parking in a lane close to the hotel,...

This was our first stay at this hotel and from the reception, we received it was not welcoming. When we entered our executive room it appeared to look nice but as we were settling in we noticed there was a lot of dust in various places. The sofa was not comfortable as the cushions you sat on sank down into...

I stayed here for a weekend as I was visiting my daughter. The hotel has a lovely feel and the room and bed was very comfortable. I would echo a previous reviewer's comments about the corridors. There were parts where the carpet had been taped and with some attention to these it would deserve a top rating. My room didn't...

The rooms at the Rutland all have the theme of a large image above the bed. The stripped brick walls contrasting with the teak panelling are also a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was tidy and clean. I didn't eat at the hotel although evening meal and breakfast were both available if needed. The reception area...
