Very clean and fresh hotel with parking. Lacking some special touches, like coffee making facilities in the room, but at this price you can't complain. Bed felt very firm but was actually quite comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when visiting family in Sheffield.

Attended my sisters birthday party. The event was well organised and ran smoothly in the lovely gallery space. All of the staff were attentive and helpful throughout the evening and helped to make everything run smoothly. Food arrived on time which had been ordered by the events manager from outside caterers and was lovely. I would recommend booking this venue for events!

First major point: the photos do not do justice to this beautiful hotel! Great decor throughout, everything has been recently refurbished (or it was refurbished for March 2020 - timing, the art of good comedy!) and everything is immaculate. The reception is filled with pictures, cards and mugs by the resident artist, and the pictures are a feature throughout the hotel. The staff are warm, friendly and accommodating. The bedroom was modern, clean, well decorated and very relaxing. The bathroom (shower room, no bath) was also well appointed, with a large rain shower and plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner. White Company towels. There was no fridge in our room but a kettle, tea, instant coffee and uht milk. Our only issue: our king size bed was rock hard! Breakfast was excellent, even though the pancakes & syrup was actually crepes & honey! The hotel is very relaxing although there is a little road noise and you can hear people talking under the outside bar canopy. There is an adequate car park behind the hotel, and you can park on the road with impunity. We would definitely return for another stay.

We have stayed here a few times and the service, staff and rooms are just fab, the rooms are as if you are the 1st person to use the towels, bath mats, bathroom, bedding they are immaculate ever time and amazing nights sleep. Night porter Craig always goes above and beyond to make your stay the best possible, he’s a credit to the whole team. I had my 50th birthday here and the thought and again attention to detail to make it special for me was amazing, I received gifts from the management and gift from the wonderful staff Callum, Conner,Ben,Kat, Charlie and Harriet thank you x you make a fab team and The Psalter.

I don't understand why this hotel only has two stars, the rooms are amazing, there is a lot of space and it is quite luxurious. We only stayed one night, but felt really welcome especially because we were allowed to bring our two dogs.
