This hotel open during lockdown therefore appears brand new. The hotel is located on a busy road and parking is in a nearby multi-storey car park. It's a short walk to the city centre. The number 10 cafe and bar downstairs is spacious and modern and the staff are in enthusiastic and friendly. Check-in was straightforward. The room is small but this is ok for a couple of nights. The decor in the room is modern and simplistic with an ensuite small bathroom and hanging rail on the wall for clothing. There's very little space in the "nest" room, the bed taking up most of the space. Perfectly adequate though. I booked a rate with breakfast included full stop with this you are able to choose items from the menu up to a total of £5.80. This is not something I've come across before. I chose to have a cappuccino and a ham and cheese croissant, both warm, freshly made and tasty. Actually apart from a short wait, this was quite good as at a buffet breakfast I'm sure the coffee wouldn't have been as good and the pastry would be cold. I would have liked to have some fruit too but this was not on the menu. Overall very pleased with my stay and I'll be happy to come back again.

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times. Some rooms have shower gel dispensers on the wall in the bathrooms some do not - despite the same room type being booked each time. Also when I stayed this week, the fire alarm went off at 02:35 AM, waking me up, and proving this isn't a restful place to try and get a good nights sleep.

A good budget hotel. Once I got over the surprise of no toiletries (something I have never experienced before) this hotel was quite good. There is also no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities but at least I expected that. Towels were provided and the tinest sliver of soap. Fortunately there is a waitrose opposite so I could buy shower gel and shampoo. The room was small with a full length window and a few hangers. It was clean. Breakfast was included and was perfect for me. Coffee, croissant, orange juice and an apple. I parked in the streets nearby which were free from 6.30pm friday until sunday. It is a 20 minute walk to the city centre so I would say well situated. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will stay again but bring toiletries next time.

Rooms far to small for two people the room was so depressing to look at not cleaned lifts in the hotel were thilthy staff not very friendly I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a nice room I'm not happy others that charge £30 saying our booking had been cancelled when it wasn't so watch out for that

Comfortable stay with adequate facilities for the price. Had a great sleep. Love the full length window with nice view. Simple check in and out process. It’s a bit out of the way from the centre or a tram stop. Good value for money overall. Booked a twin room which was confirmed on arrival by check in staff only to get to the room to find a double bed.
