I stayed in Etruria House for a two month period, while working as academic at the University of Sheffield. As I had stayed in the property on previous short visits to the city, I knew beforehand that I was bound to have a pleasant experience. The owners are a very friendly couple, extremely polite and helpful. They pay careful attention to...

I stayed at Etruria for full 25 days and it was really a peaceful, satisfying stay. The owners are really friendly and helpful and by the end of my stay I think we became real friends. I remember my room, No, 12, with its lovely huge window that gave a beautiful view of the hillside, with nostalgia. Breakfast was basic...

The Etruria is really good value and the owners really friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable, the showers hot and the breakfast cooked to perfection. Great looking house and also good location for local pubs and restaurants.

I love old buildings. This place is in its own time-warp. This is my kind of place because I love historical buildings. If you want modern and perfect accommodation then this is not for you. Strange that we had to pay on arrival. Rooms were dated. Clean. Bedding was blankets instead of quilts. We stayed in Room 18. En Suite.The...

The gentleman that greeted us on our arrival hardly spoke to us until our card payment had gone through and not a friendly greeting at all. The breakfast was basic. At no point were we asked any preference for our breakfast other than the choice of tea or coffee. During our time sat at breakfast there was another guest who...

Thank you for your review although I feel a little distorted. On arrival I checked you in and we spoke in length about your time in Shefifeld as you previously lived here. I enquired as to the nature of this visit which you told me in great detail. The towels would not be be changed on a two night visit...

The owners were very welcoming. Showed us to our room. The room was old fashioned and "en suite" was tinny. There was mould in and around a shower which only could fit a small person in and shower was very small. The room size was good. Everything you needed in there however the position of the room lead external noise...

Basic room and a little dated but simple prices, en suite a little tight for a 6ft 3" bloke but welcome . Nice breakfast. Was surprised to pay when arriving normAlly do that as you leave. But a few commercial vans outside and they can do flits so can understand that. All Ok and quite
