I have stayed here before and Charlotte & Kevin are so welcoming and make me feel 'at home'. The room was beautifully furnished. Large comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Super breakfast, cooked to order. It is in a quiet suburb of Shrewsbury but only 10 minutes walk across Kingsland Bridge to the town centre. Shrewsbury School is minutes away. I...

Stayed two delightful nights. The room had a view of the back garden and valley. Updated bedroom and bathroom felt more like a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was provided and the owners did everything to make it enjoyable. Just outside of town via the toll bridge it took us 10-15 minutes to reach city center.

My elderly parents really enjoyed a few days last week at Hambrook House for their first break away in a couple of years. It was an excellent base from which to explore the area with family in Shrewsbury. They found it extremely comfortable, relaxing and convenient, and nothing was too much trouble for Victoria. Breakfast was delicious and they loved...

Our three night stay at Hambrook House exceeded our expectations. Set in a quiet, tree-lined road, this beautiful Victorian property provides guests with a high-quality experience. Our room (8) was spacious and tranquil with a very comfortable bed, period furniture and a good-sized bathroom. Coming down to breakfast in a bright dining room, with tables laid with crisp, white linen...

Lovely hotel, very warm welcome, excellent en-suite rooms, quiet, and superb breakfast. Top notch place to stay, and situated in a lovely part of Shrewsbury with a nice 10 minute walk to the town centre, parks, cafes, restaurants, also great for runs/walks along the river. Dingle gardens by Percy Thrower, magnificent this time of the year. Highly recommended.

One of the best guest houses I've ever stayed in. A beautiful late-19th century house. Family-run. Ideally located on a quiet road, an easy 10-15 minute walk from the town centre. My wife and I stayed there for two nights with our young daughter and were made to feel very welcome and would certainly stay there again. Highly recommended.

Hambrook House is absolutely outstanding. Everything was perfect - a wonderful welcome from Kevin who explained everything we needed to know about their incredible home including a very useful shortcut into town. A 7 minute walk. Our stylish room was perfect with top quality fittings, linen and furnishings. No expense had been spared in our King room with ensuite as...

We have stayed at Hambrook House a number of times over the past couple of years and never fail to be impressed. The rooms are beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the beds are soooo comfortable. Charlotte and Kevin run a five star establishment without any stuffiness. It's so good, I'd like to move in permanently!!
