Have used this hotel several times before and been very pleased. Hotel is ideally placed, being on the edge of the town centre and within an easy walk, although some of the hills (e.g. Wyle Cop) are steep. Comfortable bed and spotlessly clean room and bathroom. The breakfasts featured a good choice; everything we had was good quality and well-prepared....

My expectations were not high. 1 night, for business, £60 rate, a town centre hotel. My expectations were not anywhere near being met! If it were just the dingy flock wallpaper, the large cobwebs on the ceiling, the mint green bathroom, none too clean, with cracked tiles, or the towels so ancient and threadbare it was like drying myself on...

great location for us - a family of four with two youngish teenage sons and a red setter - fairly plain but clean and comfortable room for us and friendly owners. Stayed for one night en route from Reading to Wales. The breakfast was tasty and the whole stay well priced. Shrewsbury is a very atttractive town with lots of...

Stayed June 2012. We were on our regimental weekend over Friday to Sunday. I would say an ideal soldiers rest. The owners are lovely and looked after us really well. I would recommend this place to all my Light Division friends. Lovely breakfast too. 💗💗💗💗💗

Our family and extended family stayed here for a party and were given a very friendly welcome. Being able to park right outside was a great bonus. The rooms are pretty small and the bathroom lighting was not great but it was more than made up for by the copious amounts of tea that was provided for our big party!...

I chose this hotel because it is within walking distance of the RR station & sights. That said, the walk from the station is uphill the first half, past the castle & library, so be prepared or take a taxi. There is free parking on site & a small bar, nice breakfast room with small garden. Single room was very...

Lovely hotel in a great location. Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend. The room was nice all the amenities we required. Breakfast was nice, a good selection. The hotel is close to the centre of Shrewsbury so was an easy walk to the shops and restaurants but also close to the river for a lovely stroll. Would recommend this...

A great location, we were able to walk to the artisan shops, local restaurants and around the river. Good value for the price we paid. Lovely people and a super breakfast which they cooked to order. The double room was quite compact and the bathroom was so small it was claustrophobic.

Brilliant place to stay and location is perfect. Stopped here for one night and didn't want to come home. The pubs and restaurants are lovely and great value. The parks and rivers are a sight to behold, we never knew Shrewsbury was so big! Breakfast at the hotel is lovely too.
