we stayed here last weekend for 4 nights for our daughter's wedding with my 84 year old mother for 2 nights and our son for one night. It was perfect for our visit as our daughter lives nearby but it was also perfect as somewhere to stay. With the well stock fridge and the delicious pastries deliver warm each morning...

Recently stayed at the Rivers Street apartment and what a gem! right in the centre of town , just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. 2 bedrooms and pull out beds in the lounge made it cheaper than staying in a hotel! with a lot more space. Well equipped kitchen, lovely fresh sheets and comfy beds (and...

I have just returned from a one night girlie stay at this property and really wish it had been longer! The hosts are so welcoming with all the additional extras in the fridge on arrival Milk, bread, butter, jam, orange and apple juice plus the tea and coffee. As for the bed it was to die for! I have never...

We had high expectations as to our stay here, as it has excellent reviews on TA. And it is a great place to stay when in Bath. The apartment was spacious for 5, good beds, an OK kitchen. But what makes this place stand out is the obvious care of the proprietors. A basic stocking in the fridge on arrival,...

We stayed one night in the city view room... a very comfortable and welcoming space, with a lovely bath. Breakfast was fantastic, and it was very pleasant to chat with Sean and other guests. I'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the stylishly furnished ground floor apartment and were impressed with the kitchen and the thoughtful supplies provided. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, both when booking and when we arrived. We particularly appreciated the recommendations of where to eat and had a lovely meal at the Sardinian restaurant. The breakfast basket delivered to our door was...

The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The B&B is a very nice Georgian house, which is kept spotless. The B&B is close to the town center, restaurants and other attractions. Breakfast was not the usual eggs and bacon but homemade pastries and cakes which were delicious and plentiful.

Back from a lovely birthday weekend in Bath and a delightful stay at Rivers Street Rooms. Beautiful Georgian house, immaculately kept and only 5 mins from all major attractions of town (and exactly 90 seconds from the nearest pub). We stayed in the City View room which is cosy, really comfortable and, as the name suggests, has a great view...

This was my second stay at Rivers Street Rooms, both times to visit the Bath Christmas Markets. My daughter and I shared one of the attic rooms which although a steep climb to get there was beautifully decorated and had many thoughtful touches such as bathroom products, cotton wool, bathrobe and hairdryer available as well as the tea and coffee...

We stayed in the apartment. Totally self-contained, modern, clean, excellent decor and very well fitted out. Everything we needed was provided including groceries. Small details were thought about which made all the difference. Quality accommodation in a beautiful city. We were given attentive service, the owners were kindness itself, very helpful and the crowning glory was the outstanding and utterly...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We aim to offer our guests a true b&b experience by inviting you to stay with us in our family home. We are a friendly couple with three, mostly well behaved children, and two very friendly cats (please note if you suffer allergies). We only employ one member of staff so it will be us that takes your call, greets you at the door and serves you breakfast in the morning. We want you to enjoy your stay and will do all that we can to make that happen : providing local knowledge and advice and bringing you the things that you need to make your stay fun packed, comfortable, relaxing. Our home is on a quiet residential road that is only a few minutes walk from the centre of town and just around the corner from the famous Circus, Crescent and Assembly rooms. The house typifies Bath architecture, a five storey town house which we recently renovated with an aim to make it modern but with a sympathy to it's original style. There is also a lovely gastro pub at the end of the road that serves delicious food and local ales. Free on-road parking is located within a very short drive and only a five to ten minute walk. This is typically available at all but the busiest times. Otherwise, we recommend Charlotte Street Car Park or the Park and Ride. Check-in time is after 4pm. We can sometimes accommodate earlier check-ins so please call us if you require an earlier time. Unfortunately Monday - Friday we are unable to accommodate check-ins between 2.45 and 3.45 as we are collecting children from school. ... more   less
