Lovely family B&B with great, original breakfast. Unsuitable if you have difficulty walking or climbing steep stairs. I'd definitely stay there again even though there's no parking. Very welcoming hosts. Better value if you stay for 2 nights however.

We stayed in the city view room and it was clean, cosy and comfy just perfect! The bathroom was lovely and clean. The breakfast was to die for, lovely home made... More

Stayed at this B&B for 2 nights.... attended a conference held at the Assembly Rooms. So perfectly located for me, and easy to find. I was allocated the twin room which is located on the fifth floor. But it's a fairly easy climb (50 stairs) if u don't have loads of luggage, did notice that Sharon was a bit puffed... More

I am not your typical B&B vacationer, as I am definitely more suited to the privacy and convenience that is afforded to me in the usual upscale hotels that I accustomed to staying in as a frequent business traveler. Staying at the Rivers Street Rooms, may have changed that perception and preference forever. My wife and I had an opportunity... More

Great B&B in a typical Bath stone Georgian Terrace just around the corner from the Royal Crescent. Apart from nearly needing oxygen tanks to climb to the third floor bedroom, this was a great location for a brief visit to a wonderful city being right in the heart of the place. The hosts were very helpful from the outset in... More

Great stay in Bath for 2 nights, perfect location to get to The Circus, The Crescent and the Fashion Museum. We had both rooms available and accessed both bathrooms. Very nice, friendly family including a lovely cat. Freshly baked goodies for breakfasts are lovely. Would stay in the City View room for a romantic weekend get-away. There is a wonderful... More

My Daughter and I stayed for two nights as a short stay visit to Bath. We chose the accommodation because of the reviews, location and the information on the Visit Bath website. Traveling by train from Kent it was important to us to have a central, but quiet location and Rivers Street Rooms fitted the bill perfectly. The rooms were... More

39 Rivers Street has been stylishly renovated to a very high standard, is in a great location near 'The Crescent', close to several excellent restaurants/pubs and only a few minutes walk into the town centre. Very professionally run by the hosts, a warm, friendly and very accommodating family. Freshly baked sweet and savoury pastries, home cooked by Sharon, are part... More

My sister and I stayed for 1 night when visiting Bath. When I got to Bath by bus I thought that the B&B was a little far from the center of town but once I got there I saw it was perfectly located. The street is quiet but close to everything. The bathroom and room was very clean and we... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We aim to offer our guests a true b&b experience by inviting you to stay with us in our family home. We are a friendly couple with three, mostly well behaved children, and two very friendly cats (please note if you suffer allergies). We only employ one member of staff so it will be us that takes your call, greets you at the door and serves you breakfast in the morning. We want you to enjoy your stay and will do all that we can to make that happen : providing local knowledge and advice and bringing you the things that you need to make your stay fun packed, comfortable, relaxing. Our home is on a quiet residential road that is only a few minutes walk from the centre of town and just around the corner from the famous Circus, Crescent and Assembly rooms. The house typifies Bath architecture, a five storey town house which we recently renovated with an aim to make it modern but with a sympathy to it's original style. There is also a lovely gastro pub at the end of the road that serves delicious food and local ales. Free on-road parking is located within a very short drive and only a five to ten minute walk. This is typically available at all but the busiest times. Otherwise, we recommend Charlotte Street Car Park or the Park and Ride. Check-in time is after 4pm. We can sometimes accommodate earlier check-ins so please call us if you require an earlier time. Unfortunately Monday - Friday we are unable to accommodate check-ins between 2.45 and 3.45 as we are collecting children from school. ... more   less
