Stayed two nights in July. Small, delightful with pleasant, attentive hosts. Beyond the B&B access to city centre is a short walk. Also the eponymous courtyard is a lovely spot to relax, a little haven of calm

Using a Sawday's guide from back in 2011, we booked the Bath Courtyard by emails from Alberta, with proprietor Michael Wilson responding promptly with full availability and pricing information. Our stay was for 3 nights in the last week of May 2012 (at 99Lbs per night). The house is on a secluded lane of walled properties, just a 5-minute taxi...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Bath Courtyard B&B over the Jubillee Bank Holiday weekend and had the most fantastic couple of days. Michael was there to meet us (even though we arrived a bit early!) and showed us straight to our lovely room, "The George" that was very spacious and had a great view of the garden and...

My wife & I booked a two night stay at The Bath Courtyard because of the many positive reviews here on TripAdvisor, and we couldn't be any happier with our choice of accommodation for our stay in Bath. Michael contacted me via email a day or two before Margaret & I were due to arrive, offering to pick us up...

The Bath Courtyard is located in a quiet area of Bath, near Sydney Gardens and the Holburne Museum where you can get a delicious sandwich or soup for lunch. Access to the guesthouse is through a narrow lane and there is free parking. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated with character. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. There is a...

The Bath Courtyard is part of a beautiful home in a lovely part of Bath. We are sometimes concerned that a small b & b can be too 'close', not offering the privacy of a larger hotel. Michael & Edgar strike a great balance between being great hosts and allowing guests their space. The breakfasts were perfect and the room...

Good, quiet location, nice walk into the city. Friendly and welcoming, great attention to detail. Stylish, clean, comfortable room overlooking the lovely garden. Perfectly cooked breakfasts in the conservatory. Thank you Michael and Edgar for a great 5 night stay.

It was our second time in Bath but our first at the Bath Courtyard. Upon arrival we were cheerily greeted by Michael the proprietor who kindly took our bags in for us and showed us to our immaculate room. We were offered a cup of tea and were pleasantly surprised when this was accompanied by a slice of cake :)...

We have recently returned from our fourth visit to The Bath Courtyard, staying three nights. This time we took two friends who were amazed by the quality of all the facilities on offer. We had previously told them how nice it is but it exceeded their expectations. They loved the breakfasts, having three good nights sleep in the very comfortable...

My wife and I have just spent the weekend at The Bath Courtyard. Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean and with good facilities. Michael was a perfect host, helpful at all times. Breakfast in the Courtyard room was a delight, a lovely room with views to the garden. Breakfast itself was first class, a good choice of quality produce. 10 minute easy...
