We stayed here 1 night. The staff let us keep our bags with them before check in and after check out, for us to explore the city. The window in our room was unable to shut, we informed staff and once it was fixed, let us have free drinks downstairs. The staff Jack and Kate were both very nice and...

I booked one night during Eastertime and paid 135 GBP for 2 people. That's very expensive as the hotel rooms are very, very small and very, very simple!!! I would pay max 90 GBP for this kind of room. Otherwise: people are very nice, breakfast was good! Centrally located and a nice pub belongs to the hotel as well.

Doreen, We are sorry that you found the Griffin to be poor value, and we appreciate that rooms in Bath are expensive on the weekends, my only advice to you would be to come during the week when the beautiful sites are less crowded and the accommodation less pricey. As for the size of the rooms, the building is 300...

We stumbled across this pub when visiting bath. we had a lovely pint of beer, lots of home cooked chips and a tasty sandwich. On the afternoon we went it was a relaxed and calm atmosphere. Nicely decorated pub and would definitely visit again for lunch if in Bath.

Cosy place to stay, price is ok for Bath, nice selection of beers and all the staff were welcoming. Room was not huge but I wasn't there for that. Good breakfast and would stay there again. Was on the top floor and WiFi was patchy up there, elsewhere was ok.

Dave, Delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, apologies about the wifi - it can be temperamental as it has to negotiate thick old walls. Many Thanks Sam

Bath is not a cheap place to stay, but there are places to stay that are reasonable- and I thought I had found one when I read the reviews- only after my stay did I realise that the great reviews were for the bar and pub food- and the reviews for the rooms were not great- and in my mind...

I am so sorry that you didn't enjoy staying in our 300 year old pub, as we rely on its charms outweighing the inconveniences such as they are. Clearly we failed in this instance. Sam

I stopped in to Griffin in with my dad to get some beer and a bite to eat. It was my first time in England, so I wanted a real pub experience with some beer and a true English meal. The staff was so friendly and the beer and food were both so great. I had tried fish and chips...

We were looking for a good place to stop for a quick snack and a drink as we headed into the centre of Bath from our B&B, when we lucked on The Griffin. The real ales and quality wines were a real plus, but the sandwiches and chips were an absolute delight. So much so that our quick snack and...

I'm just back from a lovely stay at the Griffin Inn. It's warm and welcoming, full of character and provides the most amazing breakfast and complimentary drink on arrival. The Inn is very conveniently located for all that Bath has to offer, and also has a large choice of beers. The food was excellent and the service friendly and swift....

Stayed for two nights while on a visit to Bath. A friendly, welcoming establishment very convenient for tourist attractions, the Theatre Royal etc. Our room (Pierrepoint) was compact but clean and warm and the beds comfortable. Street immediately outside was quiet. Very good breakfast. Also sampled the evening menu (only served between 17.00 and 20.00) on one day - limited...

I stayed at the Griffin recently with a couple of girlfriends for a weekend in Bath. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a really excellent selection of light and healthy choices on the menu, even for vegetarians - not easy to find in most pubs. The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed...
