My only regret was that I didn't stay here longer. Very clean and comfortable area complete with everything you would need for an extended stay. Also, make sure to have the provided breakfast. It was excellent as well.

Chosen because its location & price were best option as a last minute decision to go to this city, we found it value for money, however with the stairs needing to be climbed 2 floors up (no help with luggage upon arrival/departure) particularly the nice breakfast (inc) in the basement seemed a big ask. They run a truly surprising, &...

Like most Bath hotels, the Halcyon does not have a carpark, but the public hotel is just across the road. The location is perfect, close to the centre, but quiet. The Circo bar was great added extra. Our first room did not meet our needs (small, with a bath), but we were moved without issue to a larger room with...

8 of us stayed on New Years Eve for one night. We booked three apartments. Ours was the biggest but our friends had to climb 20 flights of stairs to reach theirs. Ok not 20 but it felt like 20 ! Our apartment was faultless. Big, very well designed and decorated and beautifully fitted out. I would have hesitation in...

We stayed at the Halcyon Appartments on George Street, right in the heart of Bath. As long as you don't mind the stairs (no lift) - we stayed in the attic room- but thought this was an excellent alternative to staying in a hotel room. The shower flow could have been better but a very minor point. We ate at...

The Halcyon really is a fantastic little hotel close to the centre of Bath. It's official star rating really isn't representative of its quality and standard of service. If it weren't for ratings being based on facilities it'd be much higher! Positives: the rooms are on the small side but very functional. There's Dualit kettles with tea making bits and...

We booked a room for 1 night (a Sunday night) during the Christmas Period, our stay was just what we wanted a clean nice sized room with high ceilings, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was on the small side a little plain but the shower was excellent. the building itself is lovely and the staff were friendly, welcoming...

A fantastic hotel, that has everything. Value for money, great staff, lovely rooms, fantastic food, a superb cellar bar with a great atmosphere and vibe. And a perfect location for the city of bath. A must for anyone visiting the wonderful city of bath.

We booked a room here fairly last minute during Xmas market season so that may be why it was so pricey. We were warned our room was compact, which it was, but not unbearably so. The room was small with limited hanging space and no views so it had a fairly dark feel to it. But because we'd been warned...
