Stayed with a group of friends. Rooms were comfy, in an 'old pair of slippers' way. Wallpaper like my granny had, furniture same. The shower was either cold or hot, the mixer tap did not seem to know its job. The lift was a bit hit and miss. Pleasant enough breakfast, and helpful friendly staff. Close enough to walk from/to...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay here with us at Pratt's Hotel. I was very pleased to see that you enjoyed your breakfast and that you found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The Hotel has been under refurbishment for the last 2 year with us completing the external works last year....

On the plus side the location is ideal for access to the centre of Bath. But it goes downhill from there. Very old and tired....Really needs a makeover. And if you want to sleep in at all on a Sunday morning then forget it...There is a church at the rear and it starts ringing its bells at an ungodly time...

We were very pleased with this hotel. Location is unbeatable, and price the best we found for central Bath. Service was kind and attentive to all our needs, especially when we lost something - we got an instant response. Rooms and beds were clean, tidy, and perfectly adequate. The cheaper rooms on the third floor have lower ceilings, but this...

There was plaster coming off the walls, it was filthy, basic stuff that hot water and a cloth could have fixed. The hotel is very dated and in desperate need of refurbishment, fair enough, but there is no excuse for the dirt. One positive is location - this is excellent.

We stayed for two nights over Easter 2014. The hotel is very conveniently located on South Parade in Bath and is just a short walk from both the railway station and the town's commercial centre. Reception staff were very helpful and were happy to provide us with a map and suggestions for our stay in Bath. We stayed in room...

I booked a room in this hotel for a one day trip with my wife to bath. The plan was to spend just one night at the hotel and spend rest of two days moving around the city of Bath. However, even a single night's stay was difficult because of following - 1. The room was very shabby and old...

We did stay in this hotel for 5 min! Until we found a different one! I never been so disappointed! Wish to check a trip advisor before we booked it! Room was so dirty and stinky, I can't say much about a service because as I wrote we haven't stayed there for a long time. However they not very friendly,...

This is a lovely old building that could be a really characterful hotel. Instead it is dirty, run down, unkempt, uncared for and obviously unloved by its owners, Forestdale hotels. We stayed in room 315, which had a particularly unpleasant stain on the wall that I had to ask to have removed. That one stain was taken off, but the...

We paid £116 to stay one night in this very poor hotel. Very rundown, wallpaper and paint peeling from walls, tear in the bedroom carpet constituted a health and safety hazzard, and the bedside chair was so stained we preferred not to use it. The biggest dimension in our double room was from floor to ceiling! Furniture was in such...
