We booked a short stay in the Wentworth House Hotel during a visit to Bath. We were looking for a bed and breakfast hotel within walking distance of the city centre and with its own car park and reasonably priced and the Wentworth found via an internet hotel booking site, matched our requirements. The hotel is located about a mile...

Me and my two friends came to Bath for our friends wedding. The hotel was in the right location 15 minutes from the venues and also the town centre. The manger was very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was nice and clean with tea and coffee inside the room to. We had no problem with the room...

Despite mild autumn temperatures we were greeted with a wall of heat when we entered reception, the bedroom we were first offered was worse - a full-on furnace with the radiator too hot to touch and the control thermostat didn't work. Because of a safety lock we couldn't open the window properly either and only just escaped before we were...

I was sorry — and a bit worried — to see a string of very negative reviews for Wentworth House just before I was due to stay there for three nights. But I went open-mindedly and was glad to find nothing that was bad about the place and a whole lot that was very good. I'm aware they have been...

Spent 3 nights at the Wentworth. Room nine over looking the car park which is not so big. Room comfy four poster with two comfy chairs in room a small wardrobe and two bedside cabinets and a dressing table. Large bathroom with radiator missing. Very low water pressure makes the shower very poor. The bedroom carpet had many stains on...

Booked 2 nights here and there are some good points to start with. There is on site parking (although limited) and the walk into town is downhill and brings you out by the bus and rail station. We had room 18 which allows a little more space as there is a sort of ante room before the bedroom where the...

I stay in a lot of 'establishments' as I travel for my work. I have stayed in worse. Bath is an expensive area to stay in but I think you could shop around and get better value for money. Breakfast good and waiting staff friendly, No evening meals. Bedroom was clean and well presented, shower room tiny, in need of...

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night, a base for Bath sightseeing trip. We were shown to our room which was at the basement. Room was clean. Did not expect a luxury hotel so it was a great room for the price. I left my daughter to catch up with her sleep and decided to leave out her breakfast. One...
