My husband and I have just returned from a lovely stay in the Brooks Guesthouse. The bed was comfortable and room spacious, the breakfast was excellent with good attentive service. A very welcoming place to stay. We would definitely return if we were visiting Bath again.

We stayed with a Groupon voucher which included a bottle of Prosecco and a box of French truffles. Although there is no parking outside the guesthouse for £8 we were given a parking permit which allowed us to park for nearly 24hrs and Marlborough Road 2mins walk from the guesthouse. Our room was a bit small at the top of...

Located about 10 mins walk west of the Roman Baths it's a good guesthouse. Room was comfortable, although not massive but as we didn't spend much time there this wasn't a problem. A very nice lounge with an open fire added a nice 'countryside' touch, but for us the winning feature was the breakfast which was spectacularly good.

I only stayed one night at Brooks, but it was lovely. I stayed in a single suite, which they managed to check me into earlier than planned. The lady at reception was very friendly, remembered my name at breakfast the next day and arranged a taxi for me as well. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was delicious!...

We stayed just 1 night at Brooks just before Xmas. It is a very comfortable guesthouse. Nothing fancy, but clean, large room and friendly staff. No onsite parking, but they give you a permit for street parking close by. As per other reviews, breakfast is very good and the waiter is very charming. Would certainly return to Brooks if we...

We stayed at Brooks Guesthouse over the Christmas/New Years period. We found the staff to be incredibly friendly and personable. Our room was nice and clean and the breakfast we had included in our booking was absolutely delicious! We opted for the Eggs Benedict but the other options looked great as well. Tea/coffee/juice/toast/cereal/muffins etc all to help yourself to as...

Had one nights lovely stay at Brooks in early Jan with 3 adults and one child in the family room - lovely sized room with massive window and very clean. Only down side was the beds were far too soft for all of us and we couldn't get the heating on so not a great nights sleep! However, the staff...

This superb guesthouse is just a ten minute walk from the town centre and five minutes from the famous Royal Crescent - three buses stop outside if you don't fancy walking and a taxi to Bath Spa station is £8. Our room was very big and in excellent condition with a large comfortable bed, good hanging space and a large...

I was dissapointed with the room that I had booked for my boxing day night in Bath. I had booked the room for a night away for my boyfriend and I for Christmas. The room smelt badly and the bathroom blind had mildew all over it. It was a shame as I had wanted a bit of the WOW factor...

Booked a last minute deal through Secret Escapes for our wedding anniversary and had a bargain! Was greeted with a lovely warm welcome from Veronica, really friendly and helpful. We bought a parking permit through the guest house for £8 and were able to park just across the road. Room was warm and clean with a lovely big bed. Based...
