Lovely old building tastefully converted to a hotel in the fabulous city of Bath. Having stayed in Bath previously at the Crescent, I was looking for something a bit cheaper for a family get together to celebrate my parents 50th Wedding anniversary. After much research I landed

My husband and I stayed here - unfortunately only for 1 night - in September. We arrived in Bath by train from London and were able to walk to the hotel without difficulty from the station. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived so we were shown another room and could decide to

Dear StacyR369. Thank you for your wonderful review, we are already looking forward to welcome you back for a longer stay! We are so glad you enjoyed the room so much, we have two rooms like that in the hotel and they are a little bit special I have to agree The team in the bar are a great team and all the team are proud of the hotel, with all its history, they are always happy to share facts. Thank you for your recommendation and hope you are able to return very soon. Kindest regards, Pash Naidoo

So glad we chose the Francis Hotel for our short stay in Bath. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the young man at the concierge's desk was able to get us dinner reservations for the two nights we were there. The room (Superior double) was spacious, quiet, and

Location of this hotel is very good and is a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. Just be careful if planning to use the car park not to miss the turning as it is on a one-way system! Parking costs £17.5 but as parking is at a premium and it was busy with rugby traffic

We booked on Hotwire for $125 USD with taxes included. Easy check-in. Room was on an upper floor so we took the tiny elevator up. Wide angle photos can be a little deceptive. Expect narrow hallways and small rooms, but overall a clean and comfortable stay. Staff was genuinely

Sorry, we had only breakfast included, we had to pay full price for dinner and just ordered what we wanted off the menu.

The Charlotte Street car park is a few minutes walk away. It is huge (1000+places) and you can pay by the hour, day, multiple days with multiple exit/entry (there are no barriers). We used it for our 4 day stay at The Francis and it was ideal. Had no security problems. You can pay via your phone - instructions are on the noticeboards in the car park - via the MiPermit system and you will get reminders of expiry and the ability to extend your stay via text remotely without having to return to the car park. i found it great.

Is the hotel pet friendly?
I didn’t see any pets in the hotel. It didn’t seem to me to be somewhere to take a pet. I’m not sure I would take my dog to Bath as a destination though. Not much scope for them to come with you into anywhere in town
