The Abbey Hotel is an independently owned hotel situated in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath. Located within a short walk of the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey as well as many other amazing attractions and historical sites. The hotel is built within 3 Georgian town houses dating back to 1741 and has been a hotel for more than 100 years. With 62 individually styled bedrooms, 2 board rooms and an excellent party venue in our vaults we cater for business and pleasure guests alike. Relax and enjoy a cocktail in the ArtBar or have a bite to eat on our outside terrace watching the world go by. Our restaurant "Koffmann & Mr White's" opened in October 2018 to provide diners with great tasting food and drink in a smart French English style Brasserie. Working with Pierre Koffmann and Marco Pierre White we offer exceptional food and wine in a relaxed and comfortable environment for everyone to enjoy throughout the day.

Having paid £170 for a room for one night we were shocked upon arrival. Our room (103) was in a terrible condition with lino in the bathroom pealing away, 80s decor and generally would have been better to have booked a travel lodge. We went to complain and was shocked that

My friend and I recently stayed here and it was such a lovely experience, particularly given that there was some confusion about our booking date. While I was sure I had contacted them to change the date, there was no record in the system which sent me into a panic. Without any

Is it car park available?
They don’t have a car park. We used the Southgate car park, which is about 5 minutes walk away.

there are two car parks you can use. the hotels website gives you their post code. on arrival they direct / can give info on the car parks there is one just a few hundred yards down the road, you can pay by card using your phone our with cash at the machine. it is open air. for unloading and loading on arrival and departure you can park outside the hotel for up to approx 20 mins in the designated bay. Park. go in to the hotel and the staff give you a laminated sheet to put on your dash board, on the back it shows precisely the area / bay you can and can't have your car in. once you're checked in and your luggage is in your room you can then pop the car in the car park. don't forget to return the laminated sheet to reception.
