Service with a smile as soon as we arrived. Parked car round corner which was very easy. The room was very comfortable. Great bed and great shower. Our favourite was the Art bar. Very quirky and again great service. We would definitely return

One night stay for the rugby , rooms aren't cheap and mine was small however I knew this when booking but they are very well appointed and the location is fantastic right in the centre of town , only 2 minutes from the train centre

We had dined at the Abbey restaurant before, so it was an inspired choice after a mid week visit to the cinema . A warm friendly welcome on a bitterly cold January evening our Coates were taken away as we were shown to the art inspired bar and to a table where tasty nuts and drinks were delivered promptly. A...

All the staff at the Abbey Hotel were wonderful when I celebrated my 70th birthday last weekend. 11 of us stayed overnight and had dinner in a private room downstairs in the Bolthole. Christa was brilliant in sorting out every detail beforehand and we were made to feel at home throughout our stay - nothing was too much trouble. The...

We had a family weekend here to celebrate a special birthday. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating - both with help before the event and during our stay. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the facilities were great. Parking was very near and we could stroll out of the hotel into the heart of Bath. Just perfect...

First I want to say the good about the Abbey Hotel, great location, FANTASTIC hard-working staff who seemed to never leave, seemed like they worked 24/7, loved the decor, loved the Apres-Ski hut (it was Christmas time) and all the attention to detail during Christmas time - lots of fun little programs they had. Food for breakfast was fantastic! And...

Great central location, stunning art work, exceptional breakfast great to see a menu and not buffet for hot food. Nice room not exceptional but nice, shower wasn't great but did the job. Room 124 on ground floor facing the Huntsman was worried it would be noisy but no noise at all. Fab pillows and huge bed. Leaving the best to...

We are very regular visitors to The Abbey - but this year stayed for a Christmas celebratory break as we had business invites shopping and family to fit in. From arrival to quite sad departure we felt like we were at home - the staff were so busy but always sorted our needs. It's the perfect mix of 'anonymous' and...
