Stayed here with family including teenage children. They enjoyed large room with a giant TV for the Euros. We all enjoyed a super breakfast on Sunday morning. The centre of Bath is a short walk and University of Bath is 5 minutes away by car. We booked rooms 19 and 21. 21 was the nicer room where we put the...

Everything was just perfect, the room, the service, the location. The breakfast was excellent with good quality locally sourced fresh ingredients. What really made all the difference was the small touches that were evident throughout the hotel.

Beautifully appointed and very clean room. Customer service was excellent. The only negative would be that there was no elevator. We were on the third floor. Although not a problem for us, you may want to ask for a room on a lower floor. Would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast!

I needed a break, and the Villa Magdala was the perfect place to unwind. Just a short 5 minute walk from the Pulteney Bridge (with my mother who needs a stick to walk), the city sounds faded away, and all we could hear were the birds in Henrietta Park. The welcome was so warm and the room luxurious and peaceful....

They moved us to a basement "family room" which was formerly lived in by the woman who owned the two buildings she combined to make a B&B along with her animals. And while they may be gone, their scent remains. Below ground, small windows,...

“Park view recommended.”

“We stayed in the Hideaway Suite which is actually the converted basement but don't be put off as the rooms were spacious and warm. The rooms compromised a large double bedroom with flat screen TV, small fridge for drinks, complimentary tea/coffee and ample storage space. There was also a separate lounge large enough to accommodate two sofa beds, a desk and two armchairs together with a large flat screen Freeview TV. There was a small room adjacent to the bathroom containing a large wardrobe. The bathroom was also bigger than most with a bath and shower - all modern fixtures. even though you are in the basement there are six small windows to let in fresh air and more than sufficient lighting to realise you are not down stairs.”
