As soon as the car pulled into the gravel car park driveway I was in awe of this beautiful Georgian house and couldn't wait to get inside! My wife had booked a couple of nights at Apsley for a surprise getaway for my 30th birthday. Upon arrival although two hours early we were checked in and taken to our room...

This is the boutique hotel that others aspire to be. A little way out of town and our rom in the eaves could do with a/c but a fabulous bathroom, great service and a lovely place to stay. The history of the house makes it all the more intetesting.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Coach House with a family of 4, including 2 teenagers. Very clean and the staff was really amazing and easy to work with. Beds were very comfortable and we really appreciated the extra space. My only complaint is the location from the city center. We walked it three times but you really need...

We were celebrating my husband's 70th birthday. The management team looked after us so well even providing a gift and birthday card in our room. We stayed in the Champagne room which was very comfortable and had good views. We enjoyed using the lounge and honesty bar. The breakfasts were exceptional with a special every day. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Im not sure how or where I came across this little hidden gem of a place. Fantastic location, with parking, lovely breakfast and very good value, I booked the coach house to be self contained for a birthday weekend - it was well kitted out, of a good high standard and very clean. Very helpful and friend staff, would definitely...

We stayed in Wellington room enjoying its wonderful views and watching the gulls perform acrobatic manouvers at eye level. Wish I could fly! Lovely room, bath, bed linen, towels and toiletries. Breakfast was faultless. We were directed down to the canal which became the Avon making a most pleasant walk into the City. Bath has many secrets and one visit...

beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean, lovely decor and friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious, the room lovely and quiet. It would be nice if they could offer an evening meal and it it quite a way out of bath but conveniently sited opposite a bus stop which we made use of

We stayed at this Hotel about 8 yrs ago and had a lovely time so decided to come back.Ended up in same room (no7) on top floor. It had been redecorated since then and the ensuite was lovely. Could not fault breakfast or location, but what let it down was the bed.I feel you need a mattress that does at least...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you very much for your kind comments regarding the House, your bedroom, our staff, location and breakfast. With regards to the mattress, we would like to confirm that all our individually decorated bedrooms contain medium firm, top of the range, Hypnos mattresses. We also put thick feather mattress toppers for a more luxurious feel. We are very...

We've just returned from a 2 night stay at the Apsley House Hotel. We stayed in the Mornington room which was beautifully decorated with lots of attention to detail with a view out to the garden. The staff were extremely attentive and made sure our every need was catered for. The breakfast was superb - fresh fruit everyday and the...
